KFC Ross on Wye - Ross Park — Restaurant in England

When entering this place i seen lots of serviettes etc all over the floor by the condiments station. The self order screens where okay but none printed out your receipt. I received my order and firstly was appalled by alot of the tables had rubbish left on them, so no clean tables were available. I went to bite into what i ordered to be a bbq cheese wrap, to find a spicy god knows what which burnt my mouth. I was fuming as i cannot have anything spicy so went up to the counter to tell the staff they gave me the wrong item. As i wasn't given a receipt i wasn't able to show them but they didnt say they would get me the correct item. The fillet tower burger was all collapsed when i opened the box, it just seemed the staff dont have any care of how they serve the food. It was just slap dash and wasn't stacked like a burger at all. Very disappointed as i love KFC usually, but this store seems to need more staff and some that take pride in what they do instead of rushing it. The waste bins were overflowing and no staff seemed bothered to quickly empty them and get the tables cleared. Sadly let down by a single member of staff. Food was fine, had to re order an ice cream as they'd been left out for around 10 minutes before our order was done, so they'd melted and, the person I was with has food issues, so we simply asked if it could be re-done, the guy who was there made a fuss, and literally spat on the counter top in annoyance, disgusting. He then proceeded to essentially throw it at us when he had done it. He acted like a child, as someone who's worked in fast food before i get it can be stressful but there was no need for that. Aside from that the food was fine. Can't speak for all staff, but if he's there, don't expect to get any customer service or even be treated like a person. We called in on a Sunday evening coming he from a day trip to Hay on Wye, I haven't had a KFC for 20 years so can't really compare with others, I enjoyed it but the state of the outside tables were disgusting and there was food all over the floor that was well trodden in, so been there a while, if I'd noticed it earlier we wouldn't have ordered. Service was super quick and I liked the fries, I tend to make my own very similar with the skin on but a little crispier. Seemed clean and safe inside.
