the shocking customer service i had today
While my wife found a table I made my order at the till for two drinks and two cakes and made our way to the end of the counter to wait for the order At this time I wasn’t acknowledged by the barista or any other staff member, a female member of staff then put the two cakes (on two separate small plates) onto the counter top and slid them along it while shouting the names of the cakes and at the same time immediately turning and walking away, a few minutes after the barista put the two drinks on the counter top along with the side pot of milk for my wife’s cup of tea this time he shouted out our name and he turned and walked away, in shock i waited a few moments while the same staff served the next customers order no member of staff at this time made any attempt to see if the order was correct or I needed any help
On attracting a member of staffs attention I asked if they had a tray to carry
1 coffee, 1 tea, 1 pot of milk and two plates with cakes on
only to be told they don’t have trays at this point I wasn’t asked if they could help taking my order to my table (as they were the ones that don’t supply a tray to carry the items that I purchased) so after making three trips to our table and another one to get sugar etc I asked to speak to a manager who without apologising then told me it was Starbucks policy not to use tray’s that’s just how it is …
HOW ARE CUSTOMERS SUPPOSED TO CARRY MULTIPLE ITEMS THAT THEY HAVE PURCHASED FROM YOUR STORE COUNTER TO THE TABLE ….
EVEN MC DONALDS...
Read moreHorrendous customer service at the Drive Thru by some young female. No greeting, smile or acknowledgement that I was a paying customer. She just asked for the payment (no basic manners, such as please or anything either). It was completely apparent that she did not want to serve me for whatever reason. Once I received my drink with again, no smile or even saying anything to me, she didn't even say thanks or good bye or anything along those lines, just a dark stare in disgust at me. In the short space of a 30 second to one minute service, I felt a really cold reception for that staff member and to top it off, I only had ordered a tall black americano, which you can't simply get wrong (espresso with hot water poured over it), but I tasted completely tasteless, just piping hot water and I poured it out and saw that there was literally not espresso in there. So it begs me to ask the question whether this member of staff does this to all customers or just me? Strange, because it puts me off completely coming to Starbucks ever again, which is a real shame. I have given ONE Star just to post this experience, bit in all honesty, it doesn't even deserve any stars, infact or should be Minus...
Read moreThis place is an absolute disgrace. We have stopped here twice whilst house hunting. The first time, the ladies' toilet was out of order. When you have been travelling for hours, this is disgusting.
The second time: Well, where to start. It's was a really cold day, below 3 degrees, and their heating wasn't working. So it was pretty cold sitting there in the shop. Two, again. The toilet. At least it was working, but seriously, who puts a hand dryer right next to the toilet. Firstly, it looks disgusting as the floor is soaked. Two, this is a health hazard waiting to happen.
OK, so the prices aren't cheap. The staff behind the counter have no clue how to make a cuppa tea. YOU DEFINITELY don't pour the milk in at the same time as the teabag. My tea was like Nat p* And you're supposed to be renowned for coffee, well my husband didn't finish his either. It's not coffee it's slop. So is the food. Back your ideas up, or stop overcharging.
I seriously wouldn't bother stopping here. Next time, we will be off at Burger King. And that's saying something.
Save your time and money. This place is a rip of...
