KFC St Austell - Pentewan Road — Restaurant in England

Visited this store because my partner's 90 year old mother had never tasted KFC

The menu is a mess in store is a mess; over the counter they appear to have edited highlights and on the self service touch screens you can pass a happy hour going round in circles

Had been told what to order for those at home who were sharing so thought I would simplify things by duplication

The girl on the desk cane very close to charging me for 3 meals when l only needed 2 and the system doesn't allow what l wanted to be an order it has to be a "meal" which includes a drink - all l wanted was some chicken and chips so I accepted this demand and agreed to two bottles of water

20 minutes later l was handed my bag and two drinks, this is fast food?

The chicken was tasty although there was far too much batter on the chicken wings; the chips were greasy and not fully cooked

The real downside was the aftermath of this grease and carbs fest - three of us in the house and we all had major acid indigestion

The old lady turns 91 this week, she is pleased to have finally tasted KFC but has asked that we don't repeat the exercise. I am happy to agree with...

Whilst the food tasted better than last time (about 3 years ago) when it was pretty average chicken pieces with hardly any chicken on them ( hence the reason we haven't bothered since) I was shocked at the size of the fillet burger, the chicken fillet burger used to be a nice thick piece of fillet chicken however these days it was about a third of the thickness it used to be and about the size of a small McDonald's chicken burger, however the price has gone up, so basically as standard for most things you buy these days smaller yet you pay more. KFC fillet burgers used to be a treat and something you would look forward to eating, admittedly we don't have take away very often but quite shocked at how small these fillet burgers have become, you can buy better chicken burgers at the supermarket which is a shame considering KFC filler burger used to be a standout product but hey I suppose it's all about profit margins for companies these days rather than...

Shocking! Waited almost 40 minutes and even then most of the food wasnt even freshly cooked. Chips warm, and it wasnt massively busy and loads of peoples numbers who came after us were called up before. .Its a shame as this KFC is usually very quick. Different Manager seemed to be on who was clueless. Then we got moaned at they were closing in 5 minutes so anyone sat in the restaurant had to leave. The managers time keeping seemed on point when it came to going home! Shame the same enthusiasm couldnt be applied to her workplace.
