White River Cinema — Local services in Great Britain

I haven't been White River Cinema yet, but a couple of my mates have. A much older couple, who happen to be my parents, went there to watch a film & said that the cleaning standards there has picked up lot, especially the toilets, only recently. My mum suffers from OCD. They love the Cinema in St Austell, and they go quite often. They said there's no longer dust build up on the toilet roll holders and the odd popcorn under the chairs are no longer to be seen.

They mentioned they met a cleaner there called Natalie. They said she was so polite as she was leaving work, they wanted to know what films were out. Ivan said she took her phone out and showed them the adverts outside and was calling them sir and ma'am. He said she was a delight to walk into outside Cinema. I'm writing this because they don't have access to the Internet.

My local cinema. Wonderful history and even though the art deco character is now long lost and the ushered team no longer appears (years after the stopped in other cinemas) it still retains a certain local charm that sets it apart from big multiplexes. I think this mainly derives from the geuniely friendly and always helpful staff - there have been a couple of things gone amiss which they have always been willing to sort out e.g. changing film dates for pre-booked tickets, offering to call up a restaurant where I thought I had left my credit card behind! Good screens, not overly loud, well kept little cinema. Doesn't always show everything I would like to see but not a significant criticism. We visited this cinema on 7th of May to see Sinners. Unfortunately, our experience was negatively impacted by several disruptions during the screening. There was a group seated in the far-right corner who were talking loudly throughout the movie, making it difficult to concentrate on the film. Additionally, there were three girls seated at the front who were constantly using their phones, and the bright screens were very distracting.
