Was really looking forward to this place as it was my sisters birthday party and booked a VIP table. However the VIP table only opens at 23:30 and waited till then to finally sit down and enjoy. Along with the expensive VIP price we even bought several drinks to enjoy and sit but they told us to leave with a reason saying someone is coming there to sit on our booked table, we only sat there for 2 hrs which wasnât disclosed at booking and didnât ask any other VIP table apart from us. There were other ViP table peoples who came way before then us. This is full discrimination on the ground that we were only the asian and African group on the table. Went to spoke with manager but he was not bothered at all and knew what was going and didnât thought to do anything about it. Its absolutely unprofessional and disgusting behaviour from this bar and lounge and the management. Please do not go to this place and waste your time and money. Would not recommend it to anyone. I would have given 0...
Read moreAwful Experience here. My friend booked a VIP table and they advised her to arrive 11:30pm or just after as the table would be ready. We arrived and no table was available and they advised the upstairs wasnât open yet and we asked when and they said âwe donât know until it gets busyâ. Which we fully understood however, weâre paying for a table which we canât use until they open the upstairs area and they advised to wait around until it was free. No offer to put us on another table while we waited, no drinks offered and awful and rude staff. Whatâs the point of waiting for a VIP table worth ÂŁ200+ if we can only have it for a couple of hours? The staff and table girls were so rude and clearly laughing at us and making snide comments. The manager was not helpful in anyway and did nothing to try and resolve this and laughed in our faces. Very disappointing especially for a birthday night out. Staff need more training and...
Read moreI left Kioki in Swindon about half an hour ago, and as a foreign settler, I have never felt more disrespected in what is supposed to be a multicultural country. Just after I walked out, one of the security guards made a blatantly racist comment to his colleagues, who all laughed like it was a joke.
It was disgusting, humiliating, and completely unacceptable. For a venue that welcomes people from all backgrounds, youâd expect their staff, especially security, to behave with professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, that was not the case here.
The venue itself was okay, but the behaviour of the security staff completely ruined the experience. Management seriously needs to take action and ensure thereâs zero tolerance for racism or discriminatory behaviour.
Shameful and disappointing. Avoid if you value basic...
