Nice little coffee shop/cafe. We stopped for a coffee on a cold Winters day. Luckily not too busy, if it was I feel it would be difficult to find seating and long waits. Only a small counter and 2 serving staff, who were friendly. Basic choice if refreshments including cakes, soup hot drinks etc. Our coffees were £3 each (standard price) and quite nice. No takeaway cups to sit outside in the courtyard with. Toilets opposite which are clean and modern with disabled loo and changing room for infants. Some outdoor seating in yard. No bins available which would be useful.

Beautiful national trust ,such a lovely place well worth a visit, lovely walk around the village, were we found homemade marmite dog biscuits which they loved, you just put the money through the letterbox, other's selling jams & chutney, plant etc, lovely place

Loveliest little place with exceptional service and choice of food items. This was the highlight of our stay out by Bath! We went early before any tour busses had showed up and walked the grounds for an hour unsupervised. It was enchanting!

Arrived at 9:59, was told by two employees they'd be opening in one minute at 10am. Left to go the nearby loo, came back and was blatantly ignored for five minutes while they both struggled to put up parasols outside despite having no other customers. Deliberately ignored us as we waited (at which point it was past 10), and made passive comments to each other about how they expected to be another 20 minutes putting up the parasols. Bad attitude, terrible service even though none was delivered! We were...

Nice little tea room in what might have been an old stable block with the typical National Trust food, (and if you don't treat yourself to at least a cream tea in the summer or a toasted tea cake in winter then you're missing out) somewhat slopey floors, but not enough to cause trouble. Coffee was good and welcome on a cold day. Would also recommend the 2nd hand book shop, lots of books for...
