Malayan — Restaurant in England

Wow, wow, wow! Only came across this hidden gem a number of weeks ago and thought that we would give it a go...so pleased that we did! We received a warm welcome and were served quickly. We chose the banquette for 2 start with chicken tikka and chicken chat puri. The mains were chicken rogan kosh and a classic chicken tikka masala, accompanied with mushrooom pilau rice, spiced chips, garlic and corriander naan, and popadoms and sauces. While waiting for our meal, we opted for a couple of ice-cold Cobra largers. After a short, a massive bag of food arrived, and we headed back to the ranch. Upon opening that package, the smells that hit us were amazing! As we dished up the feast that sat before our eyes looked and smelled amazing. Digging in our taste buds were set alight with an array of amazing tastes. Absolutely the best Indian food in Chester le Street! Definetly be back again, that's for sure! Thank you, team...

This is the first time me and my partner have tried Bombay Lounge for a take away and (WOW - just WOW) we were absolutely blown away! Really enjoyed it. Honestly, as I was devouring the Banquet set meal we ordered, I was literally trying to find the words to say as I wanted to ring them up personally to congratulate the staff on their Fantastic food! Instead I’ve chosen to leave this review. How did you make that chicken and mushroom stir fry starter? Amazing man! It’s a really well done out restaurant inside as well (which we will definitely be visiting to dine in) and the service was class on collection. Hats of Bombay, keep up...

Got a lovely banquet for 2 people. The two onion bhaji's were enormous. We also had chicken tikka starter, 2 chicken korma's, pilau rice, garlic naan, poppadoms and they give you chips and mint sauces, tomato sauce and onion pickle for £21.95. Rang to see if they would deliver to Sacriston as it didn't say they would online. Yes no problem. Rang at 5.30pm and was informed it would arrive in hour. Went to get the cash. Arrived on time. Very friendly and nice staff on the phone and the delivery driver. Will definitely use them again and will visit the restaurant for...
