This is unfortunate event, we been many time and never had an issue Knowing that we came with vulnerable adult on wheelchair and eating time will take ample of time . While we had over dinner and just welcome an expected guess, we ordered more food and desert .

Only to be told we need to leave in 5 minutes as the table has been reserved now We were then told don’t worry as they found another table to reserve it

That has put us off our desert as we cannot eat under pressure. Left us with a bad taste

I apologise I did not realise that the cafe has a time limits to how long you need to stay, May be this ought to clear for everyone Given that if person has a disability and take time to eat for assistance with feeding due to a risk of chocking will require to have a time limit. April 2024 Update: Stopped off mid bike ride for a lamb wrap and a rocky road cake, all washed down with a delicious coffee. Lovely food, very attentive and friendly service, busy active atmosphere. Thank you March 2022: I was a little disappointed with my visit to Matilda's overall this time, but the food was good and the service was friendly as always. There was a very long wait in the queue to order, and an even longer wait for the food to arrive, and then yet another wait for the coffee.
