We had the mixed starter platter for two – a nice, familiar start with a few interesting twists. The herbed prawns were a great change from the usual battered ones, and the chicken-and-prawn toast was a clever variation on a classic.

We shared a beef Pad Kee Mao which was excellent – full of flavour and perfectly cooked. It was my sister’s first time trying it and she loved it. I had my usual favourite, duck red curry, which was outstanding: the duck was cooked well and the flavours were balanced, rich, and spicy in just the right way. My sister’s green chicken curry was equally good – it really captured the taste of Thailand and stood out compared with many other Thai restaurants.

I made an online reservation for a special birthday celebration and received a confirmation email. However, when I arrived, I was told my reservation wasn’t on the handwritten list. I showed the staff the confirmation email, but they insisted it wasn't their fault and claimed they were fully booked. We previously used this restaurant a lot when we lived in Great Missenden and the food was always fresh and tasty and the staff were very courteous and friendly.
