We had the mixed starter platter for two â a nice, familiar start with a few interesting twists. The herbed prawns were a great change from the usual battered ones, and the chicken-and-prawn toast was a clever variation on a classic.
We shared a beef Pad Kee Mao which was excellent â full of flavour and perfectly cooked. It was my sisterâs first time trying it and she loved it. I had my usual favourite, duck red curry, which was outstanding: the duck was cooked well and the flavours were balanced, rich, and spicy in just the right way. My sisterâs green chicken curry was equally good â it really captured the taste of Thailand and stood out compared with many other Thai restaurants.
