I know this is fast food and you get what you pay for, even though prices have definitely increased, however it's become a reoccurring issue here that something is missing or wrong with our order, and the lids are never on a milkshake properly! I don't know if they are overfilling them and then the lid is a tight squeeze, or they haven't just got the time to put lids on properly.. so it's become my job now, otherwise, as we pick up the cup to remove the milkshake from the drink holder it oozes out the top, all over your hands, clothes and car. Nonetheless, what led me to taking the time out of my day to leave this review is the fact that after ordering 4 apple pies, I made the necessary checks that everything was in the bag before driving off, and, lo and behold, there is 3 apple pies. I hand the lady my receipt and ask for the 4th pie I paid for and off she disappears for a few minutes, then someone more senior pops her head through the window to inform me there is a 4 minute wait for more apple pies, I was given the choice of wait, replace or refund, but what just became apparent was the fact that they knew there was 3 in the bag and didn't want to wait for the 4th in order to keep the queue moving. Instead of being honest in the first place about a completely understandable situation and giving me the choice, they put 3 in the bag and sent me on my way. Read moreI don't use fast food restaurants very often, but this one deserves a 5* (well, the manager does!) Ordered some food on the screen and had a look around for some colouring sheets and crayons for my 2 young children. The manager saw me and approached me asking what I was looking for, I told him and he kindly pointed me in the direction of the colouring sheet area (it was empty so he replenished it) then he came round with some balloons which of course my children loved! Our food was delivered to us and for some reason I had a hot chocolate instead of the latte id ordered. I took it up to the counter and the lady there had no issue in replacing it for me. The porridge also came with no syrup or spoon, so a bit inconvenient having to keep getting up and leaving the table with two young children on, but again the manager sorted the issue and got me some cutlery. So whilst the food order was a bit hit and miss, the fact that all the staff were happy and helpful in rectifying everything means I'm happy to give 5*. The manager was really lovely, i don't think I've ever spotted a manager in any restaurant on the shop floor before and interacting...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this McDonalds since early 90’s, grown up alongside this place alongside me, kids parties around 1995, I’m Meole Estate. The service just prior and since refurb is disgusting, not the same.
I’ve made recent orders, missing food, not refunded or replaced, Mother having sliding doors through drive through shut on her whilst making a complaint regarding service.
Twice this past week, rubbish service.
Over filled bag, whilst watching two managers dossing about on their phones and sitting on tables, when I questioned it, I was ignored and said what, that same order my bag was overfilled to save money from their behalf, bag split walking home and lost fries, waste of time going back to complain, never would have achieved anything.
This morning, waited over 10mins to get served, others paying cash got better service and the older guy serving spent more time seeing them and having a gossip, I’d already ordered over 5 minutes before on touch screen.
A guys who’s order was after mine got his and even had an apology for the wait, when I got mine afterwards from the same person, nothing was said, ignorant.
