McDonald's — Restaurant in England

Whenever I go to drive through early in the morning it's says its shut ,but if you walk in its not its open, but no staff to be seen I just order on the screen and then the only time you see someone is when they bring the so called order out .Also its usually empty but the place is a mess uncleaned tables etc and long wait for order .I ordered chicken salad and got a box full of soggy lettuce with one piece of chicken on top , Ive never had such a poorly prepared meal from mcdonald's ever this place is a joke I ate the chicken and binned the rest,you have to wonder if the staff are up to the job of cooking and serving food and worst bit is you can no longer see the the kitchen part so for all we know it could be as untidy as the rest of it.

Update Bought a double cheese burger on the 29 sept 2024 it was disgusting dried up and cold added a the photo things are not improving at this mcdonald's you expect more for the prices they charge these days

Update on 15/01/25 I've decided never to use this mcdonald's again it is probably the worst one in the uk the food just isn't worth the money it's badly prepared and badly served I would rather cook my own nicer and cheaper just not as convenient, mcdonald's should do something about this franchise it is damaging...

I do not understand how a branch of McDonalds can fall to this low a standard.

Every week for the last 4 weeks we have gone here for exactly the same food and every week we have come home with a different order missing at least one thing.

To add insult to injury this is what I was served as Large fries this evening. The fries were not even cooked through which I really am left scratching my head at since the entire process has bells to alert the staff when to complete parts of the process. I can only assume that when busy they dont bother sticking to quality control processes. The picture shows the lack of portion control, the lack of proper cooking and the absolutely disgusting amount of oil left on the fries shows they were not even drained properly either.

This evening when I was there the manager was swanning around in the food prep area with blatant disregard for food hygeine with no head covering on at all.

Really shambolic McDonalds branch to be avoided at peak times. I would check your order before you leave. Once or twice I would accept is an accident but consistently 4 weeks in a row to be short of items sounds more like there are bigger problems at...

It's not often I visit McDonalds but when I do it It is this one as it is the nearest to me. It is therefore disappointing when I do attend. More often than not they don't always have what I want for whatever reason, excuses are somethings broke down or the item is not available but most annoying is when you finally get your order and take it home it's not what you ordered or something is missing. Today has been no different, ordered a salad box to find no sauce. The box hadnt been closed properly nearly wnded up with the salad all over. Load of dried lettuce leaves, two big chunks of onion, two slices of tomato and two slices of cucumber and a piece of chicken. It is only sauce at the end of the day but I have still paid for it. It's standard with the salad box, I haven't asked for it extra. You are asked to check the order befor paying so why is this not being followed by the staff when preparing. These meals aren't cheap and I would have gone back but it would cost me more in petrol....
