McDonald's — Restaurant in England

Just been to this McDonald's located right next to the Tesco for my first ever McDonald's in 3 years and arrived around 11:30pm. I didn't read the reviews here first but the electronic doors were locked from outside access it seems and you could maybe push them open manually, but after trying to get attention maybe walking round to the drive thru I knocked on the door and was talked in store access isn't a thing at that time, which is fair enough. I came from out of town as it's one of the only options for late night food so then went round the drive thru as advised.

Service was very quick from that point and was asked for what dip with my nuggets but then the dip appeared to have been forgotten. Didn't realise until I got home and only checked main items were there and receipt was put in bag at next window from where I paid.

I didn't really appreciate being looked at weirdly by some of the staff members after knocking for attention and also after I picked my food at the window there wasn't really much dialogue and the woman just turned away. As someone who probably wouldn't mind working the night shift there myself, the service was a bit meh.

On the plus side, I did receive one of those Winning Sips rewards on my large drink for a Big Mac :) Also got a reward for leaving feedback using the code on the receipt.

Edit: I forgot to discuss the actual quality of the food. Got plenty of fries and I think there was 20 nuggets in my 20 box but I honestly didn't go and count every single one. Outside temperature was around 3 degrees and I had around a 20-25 minute drive back before eating, so chips had gone quite cold but not sure how hot they were straight away. It did its job of filling me up but probably recommend going earlier in the day if you want the freshest. Can't be too picky at...

Drove here as a stop over to charge my car on an 8hour journey from london to scotland, upon arrival there was a car parked in the charging space that wasn’t an electric car, I spoke to the manager on duty this day a woman, who was not helpful and said there was no spaces left so he had to park there, this isn’t a good enough excuse paying customers come first, which I did use the restaurant, there was a guy parked in the other charger who delivers for McDonald’s sometimes mentioned he knew the owner graham at was annoyed at the way the manager spoke to him also, when he spoke to the manager as was annoyed at the situation, the staff member who was parked in the eleftric space then came out and sat on his phone in the car as he was on a break, never apologised and was very rude, would appreciate if graham if he see’s this...

Wait for 10 mins for a cookie only to find out there aren't any. Noone knows how to man the till or too understaffed. Orders on the diner side back up while drive thru and deliveroo get priority. Orderer something on screen and on till but the stock isn't there for either. Didn't wait for a refund on the dessert items as I had an upset toddler to console, it wasn't worth the effort.

But seriously, MC Donald's need to rethink it's setup. You simply CAN'T have 4 streams of orders at ONE locations. Tills, remote, drive thru and take away. The kitchens AREN'T up to capacity to cope and they can't keep the stock in to manage demand.
