Twice I have been to this McDonald's and twice it has been substandard food. The first time I ordered a big Mac meal and found a long blonde hair across my burger, obviously I threw the whole thing away but took photos first, I went back to the same McDonald's the next day and complained, showed them the photos and the answer I was given was if you have your receipt we will refund your money but I threw the receipt away in the bag and even though I showed pictures I didn't even get an apology, this morning I went to the same McDonald's and ordered a double sausage muffin meal, they made me wait for 10 minutes in the bay while they cooked an egg, yes 10 minutes for an egg!!! When I finally got my meal the hash brown was soaked in grease and was brown and cold, the hot chocolate was more like brown water with no taste. I'm not going to bother wasting petrol to go back, this place is a disgrace to the McDonald's name. Avoid if you can and head to fraddon services, hot fresh food...
Read moreOnly word that sums it up is rank! never ordered mcdelivery before and won't be again, had a driver allocated pretty quick but he disappeared, took 20 mins for another and it took her about 10 more minutes to collect, she had one more drop off on the way and was supposed to be 7 minutes, after the drop off she turned away from my house into town and sat there for another ten minutes (presumably another pick up), when the food finally arrived it was freezing cold and almost inedible! I suspect it was ready for the first driver and had been sat around for a good 45 minutes or more! At least it was right which makes a change for Newquay !
The biggest joke is there's no way to complain through the app, email or website, just a virtual assistant that tells you to phone uber, what a joke, it's no wonder it is so bad, there is literally no way to complain apart from going in and complaining face to face to some spotty oick on minimum wage who...
Read moreI work on the road so I often find myself in a McDonaldâs or using the drive through. On average, McDonaldâs Cornwall is pretty good; Redruth, Falmouth, Fraddon, St Austell all have decent restaurants with quick service and decent food. Iâve used the Newquay one more often as it is closer to where I live and I normally use this one at the end of the day when heading home to pick up for the family.
Unfortunately that wonât be the case anymore. This restaurant has gone downhill in the last year. The service is extremely slow even when there is a clear drive through and nobody waiting in the restaurant. It seems to come to a standstill and for no known reason. Their ice machine has been broken for well over a month now meaning that the drinks come out at room temperature. The chips are always stale and over salted and the staff are in a permanent bad mood.
I wonât be coming back to this one in a...
