Wow! This park is absolutely fantastic.

Absolutely huge bowl complex in the heart of the park, with a roll in, huge box, spine and vert wall in there, as well as high banked sides, an absolute animal.

Proper three level pool bowl with pool coping, and fantastic sounding pool tiles.

Street section flows around both bowls, the upper level has a round bar, two perfect sized benches, pole jam, manual pad, which flows through banked/quarter pipe walls, to a decent stair set with rail, and a euro gap.

The lower level of the street section has a nice a-frame, huge pyramid/hip, banked by rainbow quarters and banks either side of the mega bowl and car park.

Perfect and skinny flat ledge, next to a flat bar, which then goes to another 3/4 bowl with roll ins either side to flow to and from the street section.

One of the very best parks in the country.

Early morning and evening sessions seem to be perfect for the more serious, as it can fill up with scooters and youngsters from about 11 onwards.

Parking right next to the park (paid), cafe next to the park. Great initiative in trying to encourage to help keep the park clean. Great atmosphere, always music playing and supportive locals. A park that they're quite rightly proud of.

Amazing skatepark! Probably one of the best outdoor parks in the uk. Built really well and the whole park flows. Great for all - skateboarding, BMX, roller skates and scooters. Suitable for all ages and skill levels from beginner to pro! An get busy in the evenings but everyone respects each other to give space. Has toilets onsite which is handy as you don’t see this at other skateparks and I believe there’s a cafe open in the day for snacks and coffees. Plenty of parking as well just check the signs as it is a pay and display car park In the day but is free in the evenings...

Even a none-skateboarder couldn’t fail to be impressed by this place! I visited here whilst on holiday, outside of school holidays. I imagine it gets exceptionally busy on weekends and when the schools are off. There were a fair few people here even during term time. Definitely an early morning place if you can make it. The bowl is enormous, and the pool is something special. There is a street section which flows nicely. The skatepark is situated next door to the leisure centre and within the town park. A must visit for any...
