So, just had a recent trip to Burnley Road (blackburn) McDonald's to collect a pre ordered (through your app) collection, £46 worth of food. When I arrived at your store I went inside to be told my order hadn't come through. I checked my account to see the payment has been taken 3 times! That's £150 for McDonald's, to be told my order isn't even there. After speaking with the rude manager in store, she advised me There was nothing she could do as the order hadn't come through to the system. I then asked what I need to do to get my food, she said there is nothing she can do in store and I would have to call customer services. Upon calling the customer service team, they told me there is nothing they can do until the payment has cleared. I then asked what I needed to do and the customer service team said speak to the manager?!?!?!?! I then proceeded to tell the manager I've paid and ordered food. She then made me attempt the transaction again, and only at this point did she start to do something about it (30 minutes into arriving). She then made me show her MY online banking (GDPR) to prove I'd paid! IVE PAID 3 BLOODY TIMES! She then told me she would prepare my food anyway, which she did, after telling me 'she didnt have time for this'. They then missed off one of my items! She gave me my food and sent me on my way, without an apology. I then spent 20 minutes on the phone to my bank (for your error). After this I called your customer service team again, to make a complaint. Ive still not received an apology and your advisor told me he 'can't garentee' the store will pick up my complaint. I cannot believe I am left here, £150 down, no apology, missing food and no one seems to give a toss. Sort...
Read moreShocking service! Ordered off the breakfast menu, waited nearly 15 minutes in the click and collect bay. Ordered two choc fudge coffees, a double sausage and egg mcmuffin meal and a breakfast roll (double sausage). Coffees came cold, the meals looked like they had been pulled from the bin and no double sausage. Went into the restaurant, someone in front of me had been waiting 10 minutes for an order, people were coming in who had been through the drive thru and hadn't received their orders and there were 5 maybe 6 uber eat delivery drivers waiting for orders.
I told them the coffees were cold, advised what we had ordered and there was no double sausage. The server came back 20 seconds later (honest!) With a so called new breakfast roll, still no double sausage and still looked like it had been pulled from the bin! I told her it should be double, she asked me why? Hmmmm maybe because we paid for an extra sausage?! She pulled a face and went to get a fresh one. During this time the coffees were being made again, both came back wrong....no cream or syrup and both regular, although we paid for one to be large! The server wasn't happy that I asked her to make them properly, by the time they did get the coffees right at leat two other customers were in the restaurant complaining about cold food and poor service.
Not sure if this is regular service for this mcdonalds but it was unacceptable. Maybe put good service before profits (they were obviously taking too many orders online) and you won't get such...
Read moreShocking how the simplest of orders couldn't be taken down correctly. My frustration was evident after being made to wait a considerable time at the window to only be told the fillet actually had tartare sauce on it. Instead of apologising or saying please could you park up and we'll get this ready for you she used the words 'we're going to have to park you'. All the items were asked to be returned and I really felt they were going to go above and beyond and ensure fresh food was packaged but the new fillet had half the breadcrumbs missing making that area chewy as it was directly emersed in the hot oil and the fries and mozzarella sticks were cold because the same items were given to me. Little consideration given and no apology. Tried calling but cut off 5 times. I mean for the sake of a tenner and the time and effort to go back there, I'm just going to let it go. I've worked at McDonald's and can understand errors happen but when these happen you'd expect colleagues to go above and beyond to make it better and it corrected. Especially when the customer has been civil and polite about the matter. It's almost as if you want people to be irate and shout at you before you have to do your job with some care. As a paying customer, you would expect no less if you dined elsewhere. Think about how it would make you feel. It's really not...
