On the glorious morning of the 5th February two thousand and twenty two, I received instruction from my beloved to aquire a particular breakfast meal and orange juice as my darling was in a crapulous state the previous evening / very early morning.
Upon arrival to the drive by vender, I noticed that this was down to a single machine and thought "well, isn't this a bother" then, out of nowhere! A very kind chap opened up the 2nd lane, I couldn't believe my luck. I placed my order with ease by the electronic talk box.
When I got to the payment bay window, I noticed an irregularity, there was a Tea on my order which I didn't request, I mentioned to the young worker at the window the only drinks were an orange juice and a coffee, this was amended without a single issue.
After a short drive to the food collection bay window, an even younger chap, quite possible that he is a trainee, was about to hand over 2 orange juices, but no coffee. I explained to him and his superior that I ordered 1 orange juice, 1 coffee. This was sorted straight away at the FCBW (Food Collection Bay Window) the beverages were handed to myself and I received instruction to park into a SPBAFA. (Single Parking Bay Awaiting Food Area)
After a few minutes wait, scrolling through my mobile telecommunications device, a polite employee of the approached my stationary vehicle. I had to take but a second glance as in one hand was a bag of food, and the other, a drinks carrier with an orange juice and a large coffee. I took both from the worker, quickly checked the food and rushed back to my darling whom was suffering from the aftermath of overindulgence in alcoholic beverages, well, when I announced to my other half of the delightful news of extra beverages, she was so delighted I saw a single tear from her eye slowly roll...

Now before the refurbishments were made when ordering food on uber eats it was very hit and miss if the food would be quick or take hours and even when the food actually was delivered again it be hit and miss if it would be correct or not or if everything ordered would even be in the bag
After the refurbishment however the amount of mistakes and the amount of time needed to wait is ridiculous it's been 3 hours and still no food
Now they have even added a new feature where you can add extra stuff to the original order if done within a set time with the driver being able to collect both in 1 go yet when I did this the driver informs me that the ice creams (the extras we added) are ready but the food (that's actually hot) isnt and can be 30mins still and 30 mins later still no food and ice creams are now melted
I honestly don't know what's going on if they decided to get rid of there some what ok stuff (5/10 although I must admit they are really nice) and hire a new team who are just terrible at there jobs
Or maybe after the new work was done higher ups want them to do more orders in a shorter time which they just can't keep up with
All in all McDonald's if this is supposed to be a grand reopening or something it's not going to well and you shouldn't except orders if you can't handle it

Read moreHi. I thought I would let you know of an experience I had today. I use the preorder app service most weeks without any issues. Tonight I ordered as usual and received the order code. As I’d paid for my order I travelled to the drive through leaving my debit card at home. The queue was 45 limits to get to the order pole. I gave them my order code and they told me to go to the next till window. The guy there told me my card had been declined. To say I was surprised was an understatement. I showed him the order code but he said there was nothing he could do. Aware of the queue behind me I was polite and moved on as I had no means to pay with. I drove the short distance home and reordered and paid again with the same debit card and again received the order code. I again drove to the drive through which took me a further 25 minutes wait until I got to the same booth with the same employee. I said to him that I’m back for a second try and was the card accepted this time? He said it was. So no problem this time with an identical order and payment method. Having to queue for 45 minutes in these strange times I’m prepared to put up with, but to be told my card was declined when it the info given to the app is clearly ok, proved by my second visit is extremely frustrating. I’m 100% certain it was nothing I’d done and must be a glitch in your system. I shall be monitoring my bank to make sure I’m not double...
