It is what it is - a franchise following brand standards, so you've already set your expectations. There seems to be a lot of emphasis on food delivery take out drivers here from what I observe (this being my 2nd visit to be sure), at waiting customers expense. After placing the order it took just over seven minutes to receive the food, 4 other orders on the screen and only 9 people in the restaurant. I ordered a double cheese burger (as my points were about to expire, so it was £0), a McRib medium meal. The meal would have been lively on a summers day as it was Luke warm - well, the fries were 39deg, cheese burger was 41deg (yes, I carry a thermometer with me for this reason). For me, no hot enough. But there were at least 14 sleeves of fries sitting in the fryer rack waiting for orders. This explains why you could model my fries into any shape you wanted, like balloon animals, without them breaking. They were warmer than defrosted fries, but only just and the fact I got 3 fries with black eyes confirmed this was the status quo. It seemed that everyone did their job and cooked but didn't work together on an order. No one was in a hurry to serve these items while they were still hot. As a result, over 7 mins to get my order in a virtually empty restaurant. The food quality is less than the usual standard should for McD's, I'm sure this won't stop the die hard...

Waiting 15 mins for two coffees and a McMuffin is not acceptable but I can forgive them if they dealt with it better I have never worked in a fast food outlet, but as customer I for one felt like I was ignored. They operate the take a number system which have to admit I do not like. But this morning we were all waiting patiently when a customer who was served after me went to the front of the queue and demanded to be given their order immediately as she was in a hurry. This irritated me as we are all on a hurry. I was expecting the staff to apologise but stay firm that they would deliver food in turn. No they dropped everything as delivered get food immediately. I tied the same approach but they looked at me as if I had two heads and looked at me as if I was something they had stepped in. I asked to speak to the manager and he was nice and offered me my money back I declined and said I just wanted him to sort things out Later when I was sitting at a table he came over and gave me my money back which was nice. I hope this was a one off incident and they improve their customer service without you having to speak...
Read moreHad to give 1 star as there is no option for zero. Simply the worst mcdonalds i have ever been to. Staff are all kids more interested in chatting and messing around. No visible singns of management. Ordered our food at the till and then had to stand there for half an hour watching a total shambles. Over a dozen customers returning with incorrect orders at least 20 customers walking out. When i asked to speak to a manager i was greeted by yhe rudest young girl. That had no interest in my complaint and treated me like i had inconvenienced her. I asked for a refund as myself and my young daughter had been stood for half an hour for a happy meal while customers who had ordered after us had been served and got their meals. I would definitely not recommend this store 100% the worst experience i have ever had in 25 plus years as a mcdonalds customer. The owners need to take a good look at how their store is run.
