McDonald's — Restaurant in England

Ordered at 5pm. Delivery time kept slipping back until at 6:30 it suddenly cancelled.

It turned out the uber driver had disappeared with the food. Fair enough, this wasn't Mcdonalds fault.

However, upon going to the west swindon centre restaurant, the staff (Katie) told us we had no time to make a replacement order, as it was closing time, despite our original order being at 5pm!

Disgusting service. Not only has someone ran off with our 4 year olds dinner, she's now upset that we have to make something else, and will probably throw a tantrum and refuse to eat it!

It's not just the missing food, it's the knock on effects that ripple out afterwards.

We were not rude, we simply accepted the missing order and asked to purchase a new order in the restaurant. We had already waited 2 hours for food that never arrived, making a new order to replace it shouldn't have been too much to ask. We were not asking for a free meal.

Very uncomfortable experience. Was sitting down eating my meal and there were 2 youbg boys who ordered their food and was looking for their money in their bag. One women working at the front was extremely rude to them and kicked them out for not having a mask on when thr boys were trying to eat. This is not the first time i have seen the workers act unprofessionally towards younger people and it is disgusting. Then to make things worse a deliveroo came into get his order and was kicked out twice because apparently he had to wait to be given the food outside. They messed up his order twice and argued with him when he entered the building to get his order. Then when his order wss ready he wad told he COULD come in to get his order. Size of restaurant far too small now they have moved into that downstairs corner it is overcrowded and and so busy the exits get blocked which goes against fire regulations, poorly ran by staff and management, false advertising as they never and I mean never have milkshakes available and they send tickets for collection before they are even ready to manipulate there good food times delivery reports my niece works for mc Donald's and has openly said they cannot be bothered to either clean the milkshake machine or refill it so they put it as unavailable instead and that they are pressured by managers to clear tickets before they are ready to make there times look better than they actually are. This is shocking and damn right disgraceful and to think they teach there young workers this...
