McDonald's — Restaurant in England

I asked for no cheese, I got cheese, I'm lactose intolerant. I informed staff and they gave me a "new" burger in the same box which had a finger print in either blood or ketchup but looked more like blood. I checked my burger and saw cheese on the side of the box so I looked through my burger and was disgusted to see that someone has dug the cheese off with their bare hands (staff making food should be wearing gloves!) Some meat was also torn off from the middle. I was also waiting over 5 minutes for them to scrape the cheese off it would have been quicker to make it fresh. That is completely beyond unacceptable. The staff also made this mistake several times on this occasion with multiple orders as I witnessed it while waiting for my burger to be remade.

However, the manager at saltash McDonald's, Milly/Millie, is the most amazing and outstanding McDonald's employee I have ever met! She is carrying the weight of her incompetent staff, she served me at every window and I was impressed by her from the second our interaction started. It was obvious the staff had been messing up orders all night.

Millie even made my fresh her self and was mortified when I showed her what had been done to my burger. The burger millie made me was THE BEST BIG MAC EVER! it looked better than the pictures advertised! I left with a big smile and a very full tummy. If it wasnt for millie I would have looking into taking further action as I'm sure there would definitely be some kind of health code violation and more.

Millie deserves a raise and praise! She is incredible and the staff, well the kitchen is run by kids who doesnt value or respect their job role and need replacing or actually train them and monitor them... also please make it compulsory for food handler to wear gloves and hair nets it's...

Working for Uber Eats is a nightmare when it comes to this branch of McDonalds, I'll start my shift in Callington, turn my app on. By the time I get to St Mellion, I'll get a McDonalds order.

After accepting and spending the 10-15 minutes driving in, you would expect that the order is ready. 9/10 when you arrive, they haven't even started to make it as no one will be assigned to process and create the uber orders.

They recently made some management changes to how uber orders work such as labelling which package has the drinks so at least they are trying to make some sort of continuous improvement but this was never the issue, its painfully obvious which package contains the drink as its the one that normally finds a way to tip over and spill everywhere as you deliver it, none of the other fast food chains have this issue as they use cans / bottles etc.

This being said, nothing has actually changed to the speed in which orders come out.

I'm sick to the back teeth of having to come in and wait at the till, sometimes up to 40 minutes just to wait for one order. When you do eventually try to get someone's attention, they just look elsewhere and pretend not to notice you.

From now on, I'm just going to start to cancel orders because these wait times need to be addressed, its as if none of the staff...

This was our second visit to the Saltash McDonald's. To be honest, we should have remembered our first visit and never gone back!!

It was lunchtime and very busy. We understand that therefore orders take longer. However, we went in, ordered and waited for our order to be ready. Our number came up saying our order was ready for collection. However, it wasn't. We could see our fillet of fish sat on a tray nearer an open drive thru window. When the quarter pounder with cheese finally was put on the tray, we watched a member of staff walking around with the tray as the fries weren't ready!!

In a nutshell, totally disorganised and chaotic in the kitchen!

When the tray was finally bought to the counter, I checked both burgers and they were lukewarm - just! We asked for them to be replaced with the hot food we had actually ordered, but they left our fries on the counter getting cold! Our hot drinks were also lukewarm! We asked for a refund and left.

Our previous visit was a similar experience and it wasn't busy. Last time, we just ate the food because we had been travelling and were hungry.

We won't be returning to this particular "restaurant" ever! Come on McDonald's - get your...
