! AVOID AVOID AVOID! If I could give zero stars I would, treated like dirt by Debbie the “manager” so rude and told me she would spit in my food! I made a complaint and not heard anything. This place is the worst subway I’ve ever been to. Edit- I cannot believe the reply by Debbie, absolute lies. I was refused service solely cause I wanted all day breakfast sub without egg. Debbie says they “can’t remove the egg” I said “of course you can I’m allergic” And was told “no” “who eats bacon at this time anyway” I was totally shocked, never heard anything like it before, then after some Clarification with her colleague, I was then told “ I’d spit in yours anyway” I can’t believe the lies from Debbie Certainly nobody from Burger King said anything to me. I was annoyed but remained calm and certainly wasn’t abusive! Debbie definitely needs more training. I’ve also never been here before and I certainly would never go back, absolutely worst experience I’ve ever had. I’ve also made a complaint to trading standards, subway, and EG Services. I was treated so disrespectfully and I’m sure it’s because Debbie thinks I’ve been there before and i think has mistaken me for someone else and treated me bad from the start. I went on to another subway 10 mins away and got everything I wanted easily. Just avoid this rude lady at all costs! I observed the the server prepare the meal for the customer in front of me who had a footlong meat subway with all the salad, The Lady server who calls herself Nikki put a whole bunch of meat into the subway followed by various salads and tomatoes , because two Of tomatoes slices was in excess on the roll she removed them from the 12 inch roll that already had meat in it and dropped them back i to the tomato box to use for the next customer , i looked in this white plastic box (like a ice cream box) and could see lots of contamination from other salads and meat crumbs , when it was my turn to be served i asked why she put the contaminated tomatoe slices with meat on them back into the box ? She said its policy, I said she shouldn't do this as I am a vegetarian and now forced to avoid the having tomatoes in my subway, she rudely replied " don't tell me how to do my job" I asked for head office number to report the situation and she reluctantly gave me number mumbling under her breath , The number giver was not subway at all and NOT subway related in anyway. Read moreMy partner placed an order via the subway app which was accepted. When I arrived to collect though, unfortunately they were not able to forfil the order as they had run out of gluten free bread. Errors happen and I don't mind.
So, I asked for a refund and was told that they couldn't do this and they didn't know how I would get one.
I go home and saldly discover that the app doesn't do refunds/cancellations and there's no help line ect.
Therefore, I went back to the store and asked for a refund as they had taken my money and were unable to supply the goods. They said that it can't be done.
I don't think it's too much to expect either the goods or my money back. I even believe it's illegal for them to refuse to refund an order that they can't supply.
The supervisor in store did eventually figure out how to perform a refund though and did so. It's not his fault & he was pleasent during a frustrating situation.
Branch manager, please train up your staff so that they are able to perform basic operations. You really can't take money and not supply the goods, it's theft. If you get an issue, have staff offer to take contact details and...
