Megna — Restaurant in England

Came because of the reviews and all I can say is they must be paid for and fake. The building was dead, the decor is dated, the food is bland and tasteless and when the waiter came out and asked if everything was alright with the food and I told him to take the Bombay aloos off as I didn't like them and unlike any I've ever had before he started arguing with me ! Never have I experienced that in a restaurant before. He said I've been cooking them 20 years and no complaints and everywhere cooks them different , I said I work all over the country and have been eating them for 20 years and have never tasted any so dry and bland in my life. I have just had a takeaway form here and although it wasn't awful I can't say it was great either.

The food wasn't very hot, not the end of the world either we do have microwaves these days. Onion bajies were great really tasty but the star of the show was a little disappointing.

The chicken was cut into very small pieces and there wasn't much of it. Chicken dopiatza is not supposed to be red hot but it is a curry after all. The spice wasn't flavoursom and very weak, it was full of turmeric which strained everything.

Absolutely shocking!! Took nearly two hours to arrive for it all to be the worst Indian I’ve ever had! The starters we ordered were both cold and stale so were the chips. The Naan breads never turned up! Phoned to advise them and they said they would cook and bring things again.
