Meherin Indian and Bangladeshi Restaurant — Restaurant in England

Having read the reviews we were looking forward to a tasty birthday treat. What a disappointment. 3 out of 4 meals ordered were bland and tasteless. The Chicken Tikka Massala consisted of 6 small pieces of chicken and a mound of over sweet, sickly sauce. It tasted like Korma with bright pink food colouring added. Horrible. The Dansak just tasted of pineapple and the Veg Curry (medium) was mainly frozen veg in a curry powered flavoured mild sauce. The Meherin Special was nice but it was not medium to hot at all..mildly spiced at the most. The meat in that dish was cooked well. Finally it says 5% discount if you collect. When given the bill the 5% was not included and we had to point this out and have the bill amended. Disappointing experience and not...

My family and I went on Xmas eve for a sit down meal. We were seated at our table by the politest and kindest servers I've met. The service was five stars and that was reflected in the tip we left!

The food took a little longer to be served but was beautifully cooked and tasted amazing. I am always happy to wait a bit longer for food when it's that good!

The atmosphere was very busy but there was a great atmosphere. When a restaurant/takeaway is busy you know that food is going to be great. All in all my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our Xmas Eve meal.

We will gladly be back again in the future and I can recommend this to anyone...

I have over 12 years experience working in restaurants and takeaways and i can honestly say the food was awful i had a lamb koria which had more veg than meat, the service was disgusting were told to wait 15 mins for a table when there were empty tables by the time i had my starter and main meal it took over an hour. Over priced and horrible food and shocking service suprised this place has customers i will never eat here again, i am here on holiday had a lovely day with my wife and all we wanted was a nice indian meal and what we got was awful only reason i am giving one star is because that's the least you can select i wouldn't...
