Memories of India... I think this should be called memories of a flipping great meal.
My buddy Teddy and I ate here recently and I must admit it was rather tastey. As per usual I had a traditional Corbra (hissssss) whilst Teddy had an apple juice as he gets a bit fruity after a couple of beverages. The popadoms were lovely, my korma was delightful and with taste buds tingling I slurped away at my larger feeling satisfied and absorbing the lovely atmosphere that surrounded me. After letting my stomach relax, I got a baileys on ice and left feeling utterly content with the meal. Read moreToday, we visited Memories of India to celebrate my mum and dad’s 49th wedding anniversary, and the experience was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly special.
As a surprise gesture from the chef, we were treated to a complimentary Handi Gosht dish and rice, which was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. To top it all off, we were given a lemon cake at the end of our meal, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch.
The food throughout the evening was outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It was clear that the team went above and beyond to make the night memorable for our family. We can’t thank them enough for their hospitality and generosity.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for amazing food and an experience...
Read moreWow :) Well what can I say. Sat night and they still accepted a Groupon voucher which was so amazing in itself !!! The food was well prepared and delicious with a good variety of dishes and it was fresh and tasty, warm Bengali staff, nice lighting subdued music so not in your face. Defo chicken biryani u got to try comes with veg dish to complement it at no extra cost. I was a little worried that it seemed a bit quiet as it’s out the way but I had nothing to worry about. They even had free parking at the rear! Only tiny imperfection was the bin in the gents could do with updating almost could not fault this place! U have to try it seriously! Going to tell my friends and family authentic Indian cuisine not just “food” lived up to the name. Seriously well done guys 5 stars...
