Turkey holds a special place in my heart, and discovering this hidden gem (thanks to a recommendation from an Antalyan lady I met on the train) has been one of my best finds of the year. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming. Having travelled extensively in Turkey, it was easy to strike up a conversation with the staff. I started with lamb liver and a red spring onion salad, accompanied by a glass of Turkish red wine. For the main course, I ordered lamb shish, which was as tender and juicy as those I had in Gaziantep. I ended the meal with homemade baklava and chai. I was so full afterward that I could hardly move, feeling as if I had just taken a mini-trip to Turkey - not just because of the delicious food, but also the Turkish hospitality and the nostalgia it brought. We’ve been living in the UK for two years now, and honestly, we’ve never tasted food this good anywhere else. My wife, daughter and I dined at this incredible kebab restaurant, and every single bite transported us straight back to Turkey.

But the real showstopper? The Kelle Paça Soup (Trotter & Head Soup)! Rich, perfectly seasoned, steaming hot and bursting with flavour – it wasn’t just a soup, it was a cure in a bowl. As soon as we tasted it, we closed our eyes and thought: “This is it.” It felt like a warm hug from home.

The meat was tender, the spices were spot on, the presentation was beautiful, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Every single detail was just perfect.

Just searched online for top Turkish restaurants near me and selected this one bcoz I have never tried here before and saw the good reviews, and turned out to be a wonderful experience…!!! Apart from the authentic Turkish food experience, what struck me was the excellent hospitality… I have noticed, even in many top restaurants, when it’s nearing closing time, they would kind of rush things , may even tell us kitchen is closed or closing and that provokes an urge feeling in us.. Bcoz we were having a good time, we actually crossed the closing time.. when we realised it was late, we started to finish up our food a bit more faster.. The server quickly noticed that told us not to rush and told us to take our own time and enjoy our meal… 5 out of 5 experience in all aspects…
