Appalling...LACK OF BASIC HYGIENE -read the Food Standards Agency report. 2 Star rating Visit date 25th March 2024

11th August 2024 8.00pm ish I just visited and ordered and paid for a Lamb shish kebab here. There were three staff in the food cooking and prep area. The elder man who took my order went to the fridge and used some rather contaminated tongs to put the meat on the grill. Minutes later he turned the meat after using the same tongs to put a raw beef burger on. Another lad brushed his face and nose and moments later began choping salad and veg. Another customer tried to order food and he sent her to the cash point... then he pushed his palm up over his mouth and up on to his nose twice! I politely asked him to wash his hands before handling food and was told the other man near the grill would do my food....He had an uncovered beard and he too had just used his palm to push the bottom if his nose! I pointed this out and was given lots of abuse and told they serve hundreds of customers..... and I needed to have a picture to prove anything! I then asked for a refund and left....I will not be returning...obviously Mias are not taking Basic Hygiene seriously and have not heeded The Food Standards Agency report or enforced sufficient standards since their visit. Very poor.....I don't want germs from your hands, mouth, face and beard in food I eat.....yet you seem to think its acceptable..... its not and...

Food was ordered and then turned up 80minutes later. A txt message allowed me to guess the amount of time my food was in the car... 60 minutes. Safe to say the food was cold upon arrival that's with my 4 phone calls from the delivery driver to find address! Rang shop asap to ask if he wanted to correct my experience of ordering a home delivery from his shop. Apparently this is perfectly acceptable and he did not wish to correct my experience. Hence the bad review! Pizza base felt like rubber. Kebab was tasteless and the chips were black. Garlic sauce was nice. Not my best experience. Much more better pizza shops in the area to choose from. Choose...

All I can say is wow !!! I bought what I asked for A naan chilli kebab with extra doner meat and extra chili, I would say it was the equivalent to a Phall curry or a very spicy vindaloo !! We travelled back to the other side of Northampton with our goodies, my wife chose the Glasgow kebab and she really enjoyed hers also. Only thing we were gutted about there was no Cheese Paratha !!! Sort it out Mias lol !!! Apart from that another 5 star review from The MAD Alexander's, keep up the good work and if you love your spicy food please order a Naan chilli kebab you...
