Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in England

I had an absolutely amazing breakfast here yesterday. Smashed Avacado on Sourdough bread with butter, 2 x Poached eggs with added 2 x rashers of bacon and a grilled tomatoe. I had a Mocha to wash it all down with. I couldn't fault the service here yesterday, I used the self service order and checkout machine and it was very simple and easy to use. They have good coffee machines here and again are very simple and easy to use. They were busy when I visited, however the service was quick and of good quality. Well done to the brown/black haired lady who was running food yesterday at roughly 11:30 - 12:00, although rushed and busy she remained professional and polite as she served my food. And compliments to the chef!! I enjoyed my breakfast fully.

Generally the cleanliness, atmosphere, service and quality is much better here than it is over in Middlesbrough. (Last time I visited) and I can see myself coming back again very soon.

Covid security here feels very good, hand sanitiser stations are outside as you walk into the supermarket and again as you walk into the Cafè area, all staff...

Seriously appalled at the cleanliness of this place! Every single table uncleared and positively dirty. Not a single table has been wiped down, with food and debris on every surface. If I hadn't already paid for my food item I would have walked out. Only a couple of items of cutlery in the trays and they appeared unclean. No napkins. When walking to get said cutlery, I nearly fell over because the floor was so slippery with grease or similar. Honestly feel disgusted as I sit here. Observed a member of staff lifting a dirty cup then handling food without cleansing her hands. £4.50 for a gluten free sandwich and having to wait over 20 minutes...

We visited this cafe for a bite to eat before doing some shopping in store, (we usually do) it was approximately 2pm they had no fish & chips so I got scampi & chips my hubby had pie & chips, I was very disappointed with my meal the chips were cool in temperature & I must have got the last in the bag as they were what I would describe as the scraps, peas were cool. Overall not a good experience. At that time of day I expected them to have what I wanted in the first place. I do not recommend this place, its not our usual shop we go to but will not visit it again. Staff were polite but...
