So happy to have Neps Bistro in Cookham. We have had both breakfast and dinner here and both were of very high quality and reasonably priced. The dinner was the stand out: lovely crispy pizzas with excellent toppings and amazing ravioli. The bread and olives was a good portion and, again, of very high quality. Despite some amazing reviews Neps rwas really disappointing. While the starter was great, the main course was certainly overpriced and not particularly good quality. Any "Italian" that serves powdered parmesan cheese for pasta needs to take a good hard look at itself. Finally, the service was appalling. We had to for cutlery for our mains and even though the place was quiet (10 covers total) the staff seemed simultaneously overwhelmed and uninterested. We ate at Neps on Easter Monday and the food was absolutely delicious, everything tasted freshly made with beautiful presentation. The young girl serving was very patient as my sister in law dithered for ages making her mind up deciding what to eat and what to drink, the waitress didn’t show any displeasure at all.
