Oriental Fusion — Restaurant in England

I went to celebrate with my friends on the 11.11.23. Restaurant looked nice and clean .However it was very cold in there and the service what we received disgusting. The lady was wearing a face mask and nobody could understand her .we decided to go for the buffet option and when we start to order the lady serving us was so rude I never had to deal with something like this in my life. Constantly she was telling us we order to much food .4 girls ordering 4 starters (too much)and we suppose to share ,then when was turn to order the main the same she start to tell us cos we ordered to much food and she even missed one of my friends order because anyway we could share the food .forgot to say that on the beginning for forgot about us and our drinks .food was good nothings to comment about this .then bill time came. I went paid the bill and she came back to the table and she shouted" I forgot to charge you for waisting food" (we had 2 dishes which we didn't like at all ) in the room with us was more customers and look at us when she start shouting. I never feeled so embarrassed in my life .When I asked why we need to pay extra she gave me a £5 bill "waiting food " shocking..im not bothered about the £5 ,but they could have mentioned somewhere "£5 charge for food wasting " Shame because food is amazing but customer service wise a massive disaster! We had an awful experience with this Chinese takeaway and will not return. We walked in to collect two orders and were told by the staff that both were ready as they handed us two bags , and crossed out both receipts in-front of us . Trusting their confirmation, we drove 20 minutes home, only to realise they’d only given us one order!

When we called them to sort it out, they tried to blame us for their mistake. Despite this being entirely their fault, they refused to deliver the missing food, forcing us to drive another 20 minutes back to pick it up. Once there, the staff were rude, lied about who had served us, and insisted we pay if we wanted fresh food instead of the order they’d left sitting out.

To make matters worse, the food we did receive was incredibly dry and far below their usual standards. Considering we’ve never had issues before, this decline in quality is disappointing and shows a lack of care for loyal customers.

We spent nearly £100 here, and the poor customer service, lack of accountability, and drop in food quality left a terrible impression. Next time, we’ll stick with Mr. Choi’s down the road – far cheaper, better service, and overall a much more pleasant experience. Save yourself the hassle and...

Rubbish! If I could give 0 stars I would!!

We ordered a Prawn Rendang and a Lamb Thai Red curry from this place. The prawn curry was just about edible, however the Lamb dish was totally disgusting, worse than dog food. The sauce tasted off and the meat was basically gristle. I rang the restaurant to make a complaint and spoke to someone from front house. She informed me that the owner was out on deliveries and would give me a call back. Our dinner had been ruined and me and my partner basically had to share the prawn curry with half the amount of rice that was left over. I waited for an hour - no response so I called back. The owner wasn't helpful at all. I explained that I had come all the way from Wellingborough as many of the take out places in the area were closed and she actually told me that I should have stuck to ordering a Thai take out in my area - the cheek! After some time, she finally agreed to give me a refund for the awful lamb curry but not the rice! I explained that I had to also throw away the rice because I had poured the curry over it!
