Voujon Corby — Restaurant in England

I visited here a few years ago and the food was OK but service from a young waiter let it down. I decided to visit again hoping it was a one off. None the less the same waiter from last time i assumed was still there. He clearly had not learnt how to treat customers. He was very rude, lacked politeness, shrugged off any responsibility and didn't even smile or make us feel welcome. To make things worse we had ordered vegetarian somosa's for 2 of our group and 2 meat somosa's arrived. 2 of our were group were vegetarians and we were horrified that they bit into non veg food despite being made aware of their dietary requirements. The young waiter couldn't care any less and simply stated that he didn't take the order. Total lack of respect and no real apology from the staff. Stay well away. My partner and I came from out of town to this lovely restaurant due to some of the great reviews we have heard. The outside and inside had a very colourful decor, very tastefull. The different water features that they put on for us was super cool. The service it self was very good .Staff seemed polite and friendly.They were very helpful with explaining our menu selections.. Toilets are clean which is a majour plus in any restaurant. We opted for a mixed grill.It came to us lovely hot and sizzling. Yummy shish kebab, lamb chops,cicken till( we ordered extra prawns) on a bed of sauted onions. It was so nice:). All in all a great service and great restaurant, if nearbye I would definitely come here again:). Definitely...

5 stars for sure and a cut above the rest :) The meal I had at Voujon was so very delicious and perfectly cooked! It reminded me of traditional Indian home cooking I have had in the past. It was beautifully cooked with that special touch, very fresh, authentic, seasoned and spiced to perfection and the naan bread is a must :) The presentation of the meal was also exceptional.
