Yahao Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in England

This was my first try here .

Personally I found (special curry) the curry sauce wasn't really curry sauce it had not much flavour and had a powder after taste like crunching sand . Chicken within the curry was the oddest thing I've ever tried I belive it was maybe boiled as it was very wet and slimey in the mouth .there was 2 prawns . The pork slices where very fatty but fine The beef was brilliant . Salt and pepper chips where also very different from multiple places I've eaten not much salt 3 tiny pieces of green chilli and again this odd powder (red) all over the chips which sort of stung the tongue . Special fried rice was certainly not fried it was very wet,starchy and clumped together with small pieces of meat it was not very nice . Spare ribs in chilli and salt again lack of salt and no chilli but lots of garlic and the smallest Spare ribs I've ever seen but actually very nice . Pork balls amazing as well as the chicken balls . I couldn't really understand my food experience considering the really good reviews but I have since been told that delivery is very very different from sitting in at the restaurant. I however can't accept that . Will I go to the restaurant or order again no I wouldn't. I fully understand that every Asian restaurant is different and the food is often very different but with the same name ,so maybe I just didn't like how this place cooks and...

Waiting for food 7:04pm this evening should been delivered 8:30pm to begin with, this wasnt the issue, the problem was it then came to 8:45pm nothing, around 9:00pm called back power was down company didnt get the email so are food was forgotten, delivery rescheduled till 9:30 this is when the food would of arrived. Actually, the reality food eventually arrived at 10:10pm and their was a food mix up but couldn't stress it, hunger took over, and also feeling over hungry at this point wasnt a good feeling.

I know the company is stressed with deliveries through coronavirus but every person should get their deliveries on time and if their is any issues the family waiting for the delivery should be contacted immediately. Waiting patiently is fine but pushing it is not, and comparing to other reviews timings is an issue, so the company needs to get a better system where the deliveries are being delivered to. I understand weekends are busy but it's all about being quick making sure the food is at a high standard. Living quite local it doesnt take fast-food 2hrs to arrive and if it does there is a serious issue and it needs to be changed ASAP so your company doesnt get even more bad reviews...

I ordered chicken balls and chips via Uber eats and was told delivery would be an hour. An hour and a half later I call up just for the phone to ring out 17 times. When I finally got through two hours later , I was told it was on its way and only 15 minutes away. 25 minutes later , it’s still not here. So I call back. I’m then told they’ve ran out of chicken balls and they had no plan on telling me. I then say I’d like to cancel and got hung up on. I went onto Ubereats to cancel where it doesn’t let me because they order is in ‘process’. I wake up this morning to this company claiming to have delivered it - preventing me from getting a refund because Yahao have scammed me. The customer service is absolutely appalling and (when my food has managed to be delivered previously) the food isn’t amazing either. 0/10 would...
