Penn Court Cafe — Restaurant in England

I have become a very happy regular here (one of many). Food is always freshly cooked and of excellent quality and size though if you are in a hurry this might not be the place for you as this comes with a necessary wait. Despite other comments made in other reviews I disagree that their pricing is a little high and have always considered them very good value for money. Breakfasts are varied, fresh, tasty and adaptable (as is all of their menu). Lunches and dinners are likewise varied and of excellent quality and size.....at least for me. Large selection of beverages available and unlike many places the hot ones are exactly that......hot! My grandkids love the smoothies and chocolate cake.....of course. Very friendly and accommodating owners / hosts / staff (I dislike the word staff here.....these people are your friendly hosts in every meaning of the word). There is free Wi-fi in house which is great for displaying Peppa Pig to the grandkids while you are waiting (No.....I'm not kidding). Highly...

There are moments in life, when on a Saturday morning, you rise & think to yourself, I need feeding. Luckily for us we opted to get the kids a haircut rather than stay in but were told by the rather useless, empty barber shop opposite the Penn Court cafe that they only take appointments as we perused 6 empty chairs. Anyway to save a wasted journey & finish up my tale of observing continuity in ever growing children's hair on a Saturday morning, we decided to sit in & enjoy filling our bellies as a moment of consolation to our cause. The waffles on offer here proved far more of a consolation & the service very friendly & helpful to all that visited! While only visiting family in the area, we will make every effort to revisit at the next opportunity!...

Had such a lovely breakfast at Penn Court Café in West Moors! The food was fresh, tasty, and really good value. I especially loved the mushrooms — cooked with a nice sear and full of flavor (definitely not from a can). Everything on the plate was spot on.

The lattes were delicious too, creamy and smooth with a little biscuit on the side — such a nice touch.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of place you feel happy to sit down and enjoy your food.
