I've struggled to grade this cafe. My partner would have given it 1* but, I guess, I can understand why some folks would give it 5*. It's very small with two tables outside on the pavement but nicely decorated. It seemed to appeal to the 50+ people who would probably class it as 'trendy'. We only wanted coffee and cake, so were not too bothered that you couldn't get a straightforward sandwich (we don't need houlomi or SB tomatoes etc - cheddar and an old fashioned tomato is just fine for us) but even that wasn't so easy. The four 'cake' cakes that they had all contained chocolate - my intolerance. And there are a lot more out there with this intolerance than just me. So I went for the lemon drizzle 'loaf'. Unfortunately it was a very heavy cake with no sign of the gorgeous, syrupy drizzle that is usually soaked into the top. Just a layer of lemon flavoured icing on top. Very disappointing - and not particularly pleasant. My partner had salted caramel. Same loaf cake with a different topping. You can't please everybody all of the time. Guess we chose the wrong cafe. This one is not for us.

Great little cafe with fabulous food and it's dog friendly. It is very small so getting a seat can be an issue at peak times but I think you can book in advance. I highly recommend the smashed avocado toast with poached egg and halloumi! The desserts are pretty amazing too. Definitely worth a visit.

Cute little cafe serving an array of delicious food!! If you’ve come for pistachio treats, then there’s plenty!! There’s a good variety of teas/coffees and loved how the matcha latte was presented!! The food was delicious and fresh! It’s also dog friendly inside! There were a few table outside too!!

I have been here many times now, I find the staff to be warm and friendly, willing to go the extra mile to accommodate people. I had a favourite drink from when I lived in USA, and had never been able to get it anywhere, but I asked and they delivered, it was delicious.... There is an extensive range of drinks, cakes, traybakes, pastries, scones and light bites on offer, which are always as good as they look. The coffee shop is small but cozy, and gas a lovely feel to it. Its situated a few meters off the main high st, and has a step up to get in, there are seats outside too! Also dogs are welcome . If your visiting or just passing through Stokesley, Pistachio is definitely...

Wow wow wow. Absolutely perfect place. The food is outstanding . I had a meat and cheese platter which was superb. The coffee is excellent so much so I purchased a large bag of beans. And the staff were 5 star 🌟. Friendly, attentive and an absolute delight. What a find this place is. We may be over an hour away but this is without doubt...
