Raj Mahal Restaurant — Restaurant in England

Customer service was good, they tried making our experience good. I had salted Lassi and it was over powered with salt but they happily made another one but to my surprise it was same heavily salted. I just asked for water so i can water it down. I ordered pannier shashlik (dry), looked nice and came out sizzling but taste was bland, we asked for it be hot but spice level was taken up by chilli powder but it was fine. I ordered garlic chilli pannier as main curry and naan. I asked for curry to be HOT and came out sweet which i was very disappointed with, plus point, my first Naan was nice soft and taste was nice but when i ordered sec naan, very disappointed, i thought it was poppadom. My friends who was with me was also disappointed with there food. We like to go to eat least 2 x week and we was meaning to come here, we won't be rushing back any time soon. Eating here, or should I say, not eating here, was the fly in the ointment to a lovely weekend visiting my friend. I ordered a prawn biriyani and it tasted like they had just tossed some prawns and rice in curry powder, it was actually inedible. I should have known it was going to get worse after the starter which was also inedible, chilli paneer which was 6 cubes of paneer tossed in chilli powder accompanied by a huge mound of half cooked onions and peppers tossed in some other powder which I could not actually name. My friends meal was no better, she could not eat hers either. We left hungry and poorer as no compensation was offered, although they did offer to bring another dish, but it was obvious, the chef could not cook, so we did not take them up on their offer. Our food never arrived and when we turned up to the restaurant the female and male servers wasnt helpful at all in wanting to resolve our issue with our uber eats delivery not turning up. Just passed the blame onto uber eats. The argument got so heated that other customers that were eating in the restaurant got involved ( Karens ) even though it didnt involve them.. All the bartenders had to do was try and resolve our issue, but they flatly refused to take any resonsibilty for this.. I wouldnt recommend ordering from them, if you want a take away go and fetch it yourself, and if youre eating in a restaurant and it dont inlvolve you, stay out of it..
