Great range of drinks in this new micropub which opened in July. In addition to Real Ales, Wine, Cider and Spirits as well as Coffee and Hot drinks also bar food: filled cobs, pork pies, cheeseboard and cake as well as the usual bar snacks Friendly staff. Fast Service. No car park but free on-street parking in the area. Bus stops are very near to entrance and directly opposite entrance on opposite side of the road make it easy to get to/from by the frequent public transport buses that pass during the day (less frequently at night). Wife and I called in for a couple of pints last weekend. Really pleasant atmosphere with some good ales on cask. I had a summer fruit flavoured stout which was very refreshing.

Dog friendly is an added bonus and the knowledge of the barman (possibly landlord?) was of a high standard. Excellent customer service.

The only downside was the selection on offer. As there is no craft ale shops I can find in the area, it would have been nice to have an area with a selection from different breweries (Tiny Rebel, Vocation,...

Great little craft beer tap room. Cask beer didn’t look too exciting (I don’t know that it wasn’t, just didn’t hook me) so went for a keg beer which was truly delicious. Bar man was excellent. Bar has a great layout / proper craft bar vibe. Looked to be plentiful supply of cans to take out.
