Aylestone Spice Ltd, Leicester — Restaurant in England

So a few things I want to address and the first thing is that it takes far to long to get served when seated it took a long time for us to get served and wasnt greeted very well and an old couple came in about half hour after us and were greeted far better than us and got served almost immediately my guesses would be they are regulars and I think you should treat everybody the same. Now onto our meal, the poppadoms were great but the chicken tikka Masala was tasteless very bland which is odd because we came here a month ago and it was very tasty have you changed Chef ? Not sure but todays visit wasn’t great but staff friendly but obviously need work on dealing with customers etc bit mental in there delivery drivers in and out the front and one of the drivers even talking and serving us which I thought was a bit weird would say it’s not the most professional place I’ve been in terms of customer service. One of the worst Indians I've ever had! Can't believe that in a town like Leicester, the standards have fallen so low!

The sauce in the curry was watery and flavourless apart from the obvious heat, the lamb chops were tiny and well overcooked, even the rice was awful! The naan was OK though! 🤷🏾‍♂️

On the plus side, my belly has been OK so far, every cloud and that, I guess!

In regards to owners reply: you didn't take my name when ordering - I'd be happy to provide proof of order, as I have the receipt. It'd be great if people could actually take responsibility for their products instead of dismissing it. I was also disappointed at the standard of food! Extremely poor recently..I used to go here often and it was ELITE. Yesterday I got lamb chops..I had 20% meat and 80% fat…the standard was abysmal..£17 for a chops in sauce and a nan..usually justifiable from here but if you’re going to keep the same prices keep the same standards..I paid £17 for 3 bites of meat the rest was just fat. Extremely extremely disappointing
