Bodrum Turkish BBQ — Restaurant in Great Britain

Unfortunately, the last few orders have not been as good as when we first ordered earlier this year. Last time we noticed the chips in the donner meat were less and nearly cold and the portion smaller. The mixed platter meat was chewy and the lamb pieces very chewy. Our order tonight, we ordered the special platter and just a tray of donner meat as the chips were poor quality last time. The donner meat tastes cheap and is not a patch on what it wad, the salad portion was nearly half of what we used to get and there was no garlic mayo pot this time either. We wondered if Bodrum had changed owners or management and after reading another review it seems this is the case. We don't like to leave poor reviews but the quality is not there compared to a few months ago. We won't be ordering...

I have previously left 5 star review but they clearly lost the plot since then. I have waited 2 and a half HOURS for my food today!!! When I called a rude woman said they were busy! No APOLOGY! Well if you are busy tell your clients in advance and don’t make them wait 2,5 hours hungry! The food then came almost cold when we opened it up and tried it it was absolutely disgusting. I just want to say that I am very disappointed because it has been a nice place and I was a regular but now I best go elsewhere because clearly they don’t value your time or money here! Advice to the management- hire the people who can talk to customers or you will loose all your customers very soon, because no one wants to hear a rude woman yell at you WE BUSY. Never ordering again, avoid...

We are so pleased to have discovered this place! And I look forward now to our weekly trips from Coventry to Leicester for the food! When I say it is to die for I mean this! It is freshly cooked in front of you, and they do not short you on portions! The choice of Meze is amazing also. The service received on the occasions we have been have been world class! Other places should take a leaf out of their books! We have eaten in on a couple of occasions with one time being just as they were due to close, we weren’t rushed or made to feel unwelcome- quite the opposite! We highly recommend this place to ANYONE that is looking for great Turkish food at reasonable prices! Can’t wait for our next trip Boxing Day!
