DEFINITELY AVOID. 𤢠LACK OF HYGIENE.
Background. Living in Leicester for more than 19 years, we have always gone to Rajas since it opened in around 2002. Recently we have seen, the food quality and hygiene is on a constant decline. We sometimes order 3 pizzas, sometimes 20 for a large gathering, sometimes 12.
What happened? Occasionally on 1/10 orders we get bad service and bad food, but this time it was over the top. We ordered after Eid, and it seems that all the toppings were 1 month old (leftover from Ramadhan), and one pizza was inedible (see photo attached of ākeema pizzaā). For hours after touching the pizza, the disgusting smell of old lamb keema was on my hands and also totally ruined the whole taste of my mouth. Other 2 pizzas were okay, edible.
We thought that okay, we have been going here for so many years, they will listen to our first complaint.
The resolution? We called them after waiting in a 10 minute line only to be scolded by the rude guy on the phone, who told us he ādoesnāt have a car himselfā and the drivers have gone home. Just a clear and blatant lie. Then he said he will go check in the back the toppings, and I could hear him shouting something in Urdu like how old was the keema?𤢠𤮠No resolution was provided, not even an apology.
I told him that I will have to leave a review on Google, as we had enough of his comments, and he said go on, I am not scared of a bad review. Clearly the staff in the house does not give a damn about the storeās reputation or customer loyalty.
I even told him, no worries, come tomorrow inspect the pizza and the correct your mistake. However the adamant and rude man pushed everything to the side.
If you would like to fix you mistake and gain back a customer who has been there since your opening ceremony in Ramadhan many years ago, reply to this review with a message...

I had an absolutely disgraceful experience at Rajas Pizza & Grill Bar on Melton Road today. There is a short guy with a mild beard who works there (not sure if heās the owner or just an employee), but his attitude is beyond unacceptable. This individual has no place in customer service.
He was incredibly rudeānot just to me as a customer, but also to Uber drivers waiting to collect orders. His arrogance and hostility are unbearable. He behaved like he owned the place and looked down on everyone around him. This is not just bad service; itās blatant disrespect to paying customers and hardworking drivers.
Someone this rude and arrogant should NOT be representing a business. His behavior was so unprofessional and confrontational that Iām compelled to ask the management or owner of this establishment to immediately review his conduct and take strict action. A person like this has no right to deal with customers or drivers.
This manās actions are ruining the reputation of Rajas Pizza & Grill Bar. Until this individual is removed or his behavior changes drastically, I will strongly discourage anyone from visiting this shop. I urge others to speak up if theyāve faced similar treatment. Just want to say the food was so bad that I couldnāt finish it. The āpizzaā was so cold and tasteless that after trying to eat half the pizza I felt like I was a cow chewing on grass.
I didnāt even want to bite the chicken it was that horrendous and soggy that I threw it. Poor chicken didnāt have to die for this end.
So no you wonāt be serving me, not in this life time. As far as mentioning price you should have just replied with we make poor quality food as our items are cheap, I would have somewhat accepted that reply and been like it is what it is. But 30 years and you are still trash, I feel like itās...
