I can just about rate the food as we did manage to receive some poppadoms at the beginning of the evening, but the rest of the food was nowhere to be seen! We pre booked a table for 7.45pm, we were about 10 minutes early, but we were seated early (as our table was ready) and ordered food straight away, no food was seen by 8.30pm, I asked a waitress about our order, she said that they were short in the kitchen, so things were taking a little longer, but the food will be out ASAP, she gave us a drink on the house..... however, every other table had been receiving their meals before my husband and I! 8.50pm, the manageress informed us that the food is on its way, only a few more minutes..... again, every other table were receiving their meals (even the ones who came in after us). 9.10pm, still nothing for our table, but other tables continued to recieve their orders!! As my husband and I got up to leave, I sternly informed the waitress that I was NOT prepared to pay for anything tonight, the poppadoms or any drinks as I was disgusted at the wait, and that if they were short in the kitchen, they should've stopped taking bookings and orders!! I feel like we kept getting fobbed off, I absolutely hate this! If they had forgotten our order, own up to it! I still would've been annoyed, but i would've respected their honesty..... And, reading the previous reviews, it doesn't sound like we did miss...

Food was appalling. Waiter was excellent. Otherwise this would be a one star review. Rice tasted strange - was it cooked earlier in the day. The kernels were hard in the centre and the outside of each kernel disintegrating. I've been cooking rice for decades and never seen anything like this.

Generally, overpriced with no flavours. My 'vegetable Jalfrezi' was literally a red thick sauce with 6 large vegetable pieces. They'd be better off getting a decent Jalfrezi sauce from the supermarket.

Definitely overpriced. Without drinks it was about £25 - £30 per head. The poppadum's had been warmed up in the microwave - there was pieces of microwave burn (too chewy and weird) in the centre. The children's food to be fair was a decent size and nothing to complain about (it was a children's burger with beans.)

Nothing authentic eastern about these dishes. Avoid. Buy a Lloyd sauce and rice and make your own... Sorry, the staff were lovely, so lovely I didn't want to complain at the time. It wasn't their fault - whoever is responsible for quality control is not doing their job. Such a shame and a poor end to an otherwise...

Absolutely Appalling – Don’t Ignore the vast amount of 1 star Reviews, Like We Did!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. We made the terrible mistake of ignoring the bad reviews, and I honestly wish I could turn back time to save myself from this culinary disaster. The staff all seem lovely so I’m just not sure where it all has gone wrong.

The food was completely flavourless—it tasted like it had been rinsed in water before being sent out. Every bite was an exercise in disappointment. The naan bread? Calling it “naan” is generous. It was more like raw dough slapped together and sent out without even seeing the inside of an oven. Absolutely inedible.

The portions were mercifully small, but in this case, that was a blessing. Had there been more, I don’t think I’d have survived the ordeal.

Save yourself the disappointment, the money, and the misery. There are far better options in Centre Parcs—literally anything else would be better than this. Avoid...

The quick version is: The food is terrible, and it costs ridiculous prices. I mean really the worst curry I've had, clearly the person cooking this doesn't know how to make a curry, and to top it off, you're paying 15-19 pounds for it. No where else except somewhere with a captive audience would you find a restaurant charging such prices for the food. It simply wouldn't survive out of centre parcs. If you're wondering why this is still the case after years of 1 star reviews, it's because people will still come here, and the company that owns centre parcs couldn't care less. If you're interested the company that owns centre parcs is an American investment firm in new York called BlackStone Inc. that earns 12 billion pounds a year, so no wonder they couldn't give a toss about your chicken korma. Funnily enough, they have a decorative wall full of spices in the back (picture attached), I wonder when the chef will figure out they were meant for the food.

Ordered takeaway from here at Woburn Centre Parcs this evening - what an absolute disgrace. Outrageous prices of over £50 for ready meal quality chicken tikka masala and chicken korma, 2 x pilau rice that were totally different colours somehow, near enough raw naan bread and an impenetrable solid blob of mango chutney with the poppadoms. To top it off, we made it half way though before the discovery of long dark hairs throughout the chicken meals and naan bread - disgusting. The only silver lining was the helpful chap we spoke to at the Restaurant runner service who refunded all of our cooked food without issue. Although the fact he was not remotely surprised at all about this should serve as another red flag if you consider eating from here, aside from the endless terrible reviews I wish we had seen first.

Here’s a polished version of your review: When staying at a well-established hospitality holiday community, a high level of attention to detail is expected. While the staff were friendly and the food was excellent, the cleanliness of the restaurant was disappointing. Dirty floors and uncleared tables created an unappealing environment and raised concerns about the overall hygiene, particularly in the kitchen. It was surprising to see such a lack of care in maintaining a well-presented dining area, especially as guests and staff continued to walk over visibly dirty floors. Given how much we enjoyed the food, we might consider opting for takeout during our next visit rather than dining in.
