San Seb Coffee — Restaurant in England

I love it when you get excited about a place, when not only is it in a great location, but you genuinely are looking forward to getting a drink and a bite there. There's spots that start off good, but flag over time, maybe they get lax, too popular and start phoning it in. Thankfully there's still gems where it's more important to set a high standard and then maintain that standard every single time, the kind of place that clearly wants to put a smile on their customers faces. No corners cut, always an eye on improvement. Do yourself a favour, come down and join the queue by the citroen van, have a chat with your fellow coffee lovers while you wait, and put a high spot in your day. We had a tasty slice of chorizo tortilla on a slice of fresh cooked bread, so moist you could just pop it on top of the bread as a great open sandwich, a silky but strong flat white, perfect to get you started on a long tees walk. 2 exquisite blondies for energy later on, of course with the owners aforementioned high standard they had to be Blondie Bakers, another superb local legend. If you wanted another sweet treat, then they even have chonky donuts from the pastry wizards at sugarlove donuts, choc full of white kinder chocolate, dusted with cinnamon and some ground pistachio, fricking heaven. Top it all off with the friendliest of owners, who'll let you know where a family of roe deer are hiding, or which spot in the river has a few otters hanging out, and you've got one of the best food trucks anywhere, not just teeside. Absolutely UNREAL!

We literally did a 10 mile walk just to get this coffee and it was SO worth it! We got a Piccolo and a Cortado with a flapjack. Prices were fantastic! Cheaper than your standard Costa/Starbucks and 10000x better. Usually a Cortado is hard to pull off but it was amazing ❤️ the flapjack was also incredible 😍

Been to San Seb every time I've been for a walk with my dog around the river and I've always grabbed myself a cappuccino, nice tasting coffee.
