Simply The Best — Restaurant in England

We don't normally leave reviews anywhere but we don't want people wasting their hard earned money on this place!! First of all we were told our food would take 15/20 minutes to arrive, so after a hour and ten minutes we decided to ring and check how much longer would our food be, then to our surprise the phone was turned off and kept going to voice mail, we kept trying to ring for a further 25 minutes, then after waiting a total 1 hour 45 minutes for our food to come it finally came, now for the taste experience!! Broccoli raw, Food was stone cold and had to be microwaved, roast potato's were very dry like chewing on cardboard, stuffing ball was alse disgusting it must of been a batch from last week!! Yorkshire puddings were terrible a stodgy ball of pudding mix! The dog wouldn't even eat it! The chicken was like rubber!! You might enjoy this if your not used to proper home made food!! i brought 2 large mixed meat dinners from yr shop half hr ago,and to say i wudnt feed it to the dog is an understatement,it was unreal,i have never seen large dinners like that ever and the small or large tubs of gravy if thats what u call it was not even a quarter full,i'm disgusted and to call it simply the best is laughable

one unhappy customer, i had to put 1 star just to post it,it didnt deserve that and i have the photos of it all to show the shop tomorrow as they didnt answer the phone...

It seems like they are not bothered about customers and just want to shut early and get home, I visited at 13.00 on a Saturday asking what do they have and they said just what's in the hot plates which was not much at all, so I asked if they had any dinners as the was puddings on the side and pans behind her with food in and she replied not today? it just seems so confusing, like they want to show you what they can sell but not actually sell you it, not going back...
