Absolutely fantastic. Delicious food, lovely people, came here on 3/4 for nights in town and regretted the one night elsewhere.

The best curry house in the area. Enjoy the complimentary drinks when either you eat in or takeaway

Worst experience ever !

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at spice society. The customer service was abysmal, and the food was equally terrible. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the staff had no interest in providing a pleasant dining experience. They were rude and inattentive, making me feel unwelcome.

To make matters worse, the food was a disaster. One of the ordered dish was paneer tikka masala, and it arrived sweet and taste was bad. I tried to get the attention of the server to address the issue, by asking them to make it a bit spicy. To that, they just added raw red chilli powder to it. I was not able to eat it. As soon as we had our our bite, it started to hit in our throat. We asked for water and noticed they had not even served us glasses of water.

As an Indian, I know how this food ahould be actually, and what this restaurant is missing. I will never return to spice society and strongly advise others to steer clear as well. The combination of dreadful customer service and inedible food makes this place a complete waste of...

I had high expectations for this place. Based on the "great feedback from 99% of customers" , my partner and I decided to give this place a go. We ordered the starter - papadom which was good (as you cannot go wrong with that). For our mains, we ordered butter chicken and prawn biryani. The butter chicken was way TOO SWEET to our liking and way much more than any restaurants we've dined in (as a matter of fact, I've dined in multiple Indian restaurants around the world that serves butter chicken). I do NOT recommend the curry - unless you like a sweet one.

The biryani was decent, nothing interesting but forgettable.

I was rather disappointed by the fact that we weren't offered any water at all. This unfortunately, is a basic requirement for any restaurant and is the cherry on top for this negative review.

Btw, the wait time was ridiculous. They also insinuated that we should leave a tip....

All in all , I won't really recommend unless you like...
