Starbake Patisseries Harrogate — Restaurant in England

We missed breakfast on Sunday at the hotel so Googled somewhere to get breakfast. This was a shot in the dark that paid off the service was amazing from a mother and daughter combo, the daughter a young entrepreneur in the making with exemplary customer service skills.

When we arrived the tables were set up for dinning in twos or threes and the manager didn't hesitate to rearrange them to fit 5 of us in.

We ordered 4 veggie breakfasts and 1 full English modified with cinnamon toast instead of normal and a side of sweet potato fries, it was all lovely!

Refill of my herbal tea offered and drinks made with care and attention I honestly can't fault this place. Hosting from mum and daughter made you feel like you were in a family home rather than cafe and they didn't stop smiling.

An absolute gem of a place in Harrogate and I strongly recommend if you are visiting or even live there you need to check it out!

Not the best. Ordered two breakfasts and porridge. My daughter had finished her porridge before ours even came. The breakfast came after forty mins even though the place was dead. The egg was hard and the toast came five mins after the breakfast. For the price would expect more. Well decorated and owner friendly but would advise not to have a young child serving. Brought too full coffee over, then came to ask after if we wanted milk five mins later . Came over aswell to ask if we wanted sauces for our breakfast when we had nearly finished them. I have visited many times and mostly never any issue. But this time totally disappointed with milk cake. As expiry date label was removed and i asked staff ,why this label was removed and she said i have removed. I was surprised but as i started to eat it, it was not as freshness as in past many times. One month before, i came to drink coffee and one new staff she was totally ignorant. She was thinking i came here for free food. But i ignored her behaviour. We can feel it. Its shame. Treat to everyone equally without any prejudice . I hope you guys will improve and provide fresh products and best service to everyone equally...
