We came here for breakfast as we were staying in accommodation nearby. The place looked great on the Google photos and reviews, with a reasonably priced menu and a good range.
Staff were super friendly when we arrived and got us seated inside as we wished. We ordered pastries and a soya latte each. The croissant wasn't great when it arrived, clearly not fresh as it was very chewy, although when I raised this with staff they were so accommodating and warmed it up for me, which made it a bit better and was able to enjoy it.
Coffee was lovely, I've worked as a barista and this was clearly professionally made, good quality beans and barista standard soya milk, so 10/10.
The biggest downfall was the price. When we came to pay the total was £12 something. The croissant and pain au chocolat alone had cost us £3.20 each! Honestly ridiculous prices which we haven't even seen in London. We'd paid half the price for the same items, and better quality, the previous morning at another local coffee shop. A real shame as otherwise would have no problem...

Also dog friendly with plenty of free treats for our black Labrador Finn and others to buy in the shop again. A great range of inside and outside seating just a stone's throw from the Stray.
My wife had salmon and scrambled egg on sourdough toast and I had poached eggs and smashed avocado on sourdough toast and both were outstanding. My poached eggs were delicious but the owner thought they were a little hard so appeared a few minutes later with two more that were deliciously runny yolked. Now that's attention to detail!
I'm glad we stumbled across The Saints whilst walking the dog and we'll definitely return. Every dish we saw coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. A busy cafe with a great buzz and plenty of space to sit. It's clearly popular and with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt was so great that I went twice yesterday! Went in the morning with a friend for coffee. And was made to feel so welcome, my friend is always late and there was no issue with me waiting for her. I had a sneaky bagel while I waited. And when she arrived with baby and dog in toe. We were made to feel so at home and was helped with moving chairs to get the pram in. And was so lovely that there is dog treats for our 4 legged friends. Later on I brought my mum for lunch. As I saw the lovely sandwich selection and thought it was prefect. Again the staff made us feel so welcome and the sandwich we had was so tasty and really nice, which had to be finished off with a slice of cake which was delicious. I canāt recommend this place more. Such a lovely place and the friendiless staff and great selection of...
