Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in England

Absolutely appalled by the disgusting service given by a member of staff at this Starbucks today. I am unsure of this employee’s name as the name on the receipt was ‘Sean’ but this was a blonde lady who had her hair in ponytail and appeared to be working on the till. This is the second time that I have been treated poorly by this member of staff. Before even being near the till me and my sister where not asked but snapped at for our order. Once the order had been made my phone then took its time to open the Starbucks app to which took all of 30 seconds but was reacted to with impatient tapping on the counter from the employee. I then asked if I could use a £10 gift card to pay for part of my order which the employee took and scanned but clearly did not put through because a £12.50 order then became £7.50 left to pay. After looking at the receipt it was apparent that she had not processed the gift card at all and just blatantly lied that it had gone through. I then had to speak to another member of staff to get sorted. This sort of customer service from this employee is appalling, rude and unwelcoming and sadly puts such a dark cloud on the wonderful customer service that other employees in this Starbucks...

Not sure what it is lately, but this location has been lacking the service and quality that would be expected from Starbucks. If you arrive at this location a minute after 6 pm, there is no pastries or biscuits to accompany your order. The display area for the pastries is cleared out as if it just opened. Nothing bothers me more than a location that clears their shelves with the intention to have less customers. There has been multiple instances where this location has closed at 6 pm without notice or reason even though the posted signs show 8 pm. The times that they close early without notice, the employees have been rude to push customers out the door without explanation. It is very upsetting as this is our nearest Starbucks. From now on will start supporting Costa or other local coffee shops instead that doesn’t have lazy employees. Doesn’t even deserve a star rating for...

This particular Starbucks stands out not only for its premium coffee and delectable pastries but also for the outstanding customer service offered by a barista who goes above and beyond - Sean.
