Amended Review Jan 2024 I have stopped going to this Starbucks now. Majority of the guys have been amazing. Yet the last few visits I came across a young lady (did not catch name) whom I had not seen before and her tone and way of speaking was not something I appreciated. I also found she had lied when I had asked a question and I actually do not know why there would be a need to.
The final nail in the coffin was on the 4th Jan when I went to place my order via the drive thru and my order was being taken by one of the lovely ladies I have known throughout the time I have been coming. Midway this same young lady interrupted and took over advising me they did not have what I wanted. I found this very odd and also again did not appreciate the tone.
Chetan and team, thank you for everything I truly appreciate you and the wonderful guys that have made my daily coffee run a pleasure over the last 2 years. However this new young addition you have (or maybe I just have not met them before) is not something I choose to experience when I come for my morning coffee - I do not need to be spoken to like that or treated like that. I am going back to the branch I started at when I first discovered the drive thru - I have no issues driving a bit further.
I am unsure as to why this young lady has chosen to be like this as we have not crossed paths before, or maybe this is their natural way of being - if that is the case I feel sorry for the team that has to work with this individual.
When going to get my coffee - the guys that serve us (I know I do not speak for myself), are that beacon of light, I am not sure if these lovely people are told regularly enough - you do not just serve coffee - your smile, the warm banter, your positive being really sets my day more than words can explain. For me coffee is not an addiction - I love my toffee nut latte, but you guys just make this moment extra special.
I have been to many Starbucks in my years and this is the first time I have felt that compelled to write a negative review I apologise to the rest of the team for this as 95% of the guys in this branch are amazing and kind and considerate. As the saying goes it only takes 1 bad apple....

The manager, Annabelle, Grace and well all of the staff I would be here all day mentioning them individually, they go above and beyond for us. We have become regulars and go sometimes twice a day. With 2 children and a full time job the coffee is needed. Itās like a second home to us now. Their customer service is exceptional. Their barista skills is second to none. The only time I go to the gypsy lane one is when weāve come home late past 10pm and this one is closed and Iām never happy. I will continue to give them my custom as weāve built amazing relationships and they work tirelessly hard. The manager treats his staff like human beings and it gives it a friendly atmosphere to be in.

To add to the frustration, there was no filter coffee availableāagain. It seems this has become a recurring issue, suggesting a lack of attention to basic offerings. The overall impression was that the team lacked proper training in customer service and efficiency. Orders were delayed, and the atmosphere felt indifferent at best.
Given the premium prices Starbucks charges, I expected a higher standard of service. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet those...
