Starbucks — Restaurant in England

So today 21st April myself and my partner entered the cafe bar, the place wasn't overly busy , tables and floors looked dirty, when ordering the young man serving was asking for our order but also talking on a headset, when come to paying he asked if we wanted large - id already told him the size, but he wasn't listening due to taking on the headset, my partner and myself had to clean the table before seating when shouted our name I whent yo pick up our breakfast bun 1 bacon 1 sausage - the sausage bun only had 1 sausage in normally there is 2 When the called us about 7 minutes later for our drinks these was given In Take out cups 'they said they would do us more as we was having them in, once the called us again , the drinks was wrong - so did us more , these lacked in taste and we left most of it , the staff stood around talking when the place was extremely dirty food all over tables -cups, plates , one lady staff cleaned some pots but did not clean tables, then she got a dustpan and brush brushed the bathroom then the cafe , how disgusting is this , (crosstaminstion) )but still left loads of food and rubbish , this is not good practice using same brush , then she whent straight on the till to serve , she didn't wash her hands , a lady customer entered cleaned her table , wiped food of the seat and moved a dirty highchair, this was before she could sit down, I think the shop is run by kids , the place needs...

Where to begin? Food here is semi to poor in tastiness, for the price being around £3.50 they are way better places out there for food.

For the coffee???? It depends on choice, times it can be either sickly or just a disappointing overpriced coffee with nothing special too it, the coffee beans used in it are your regular coffee grinds, it doesn't have the fresh or best taste the coffee from Starbucks use to have, instead its more bitter or bland with creams just to hide/mask the quality.

For what people pay just for a nice cup of coffee is robbery in plain sight, would I recommend Buckster the Buster? Definitely not since they are nicer coffee shops out there.

For the advertisement sakes, QUIT USING IT! Was Originally going to rate between 2-3 stars for quality on the food and drinks, use to be a regular customer too until the disappointing factors kept piling up, now the rating for Starbucks is at a mere 1 just how heavily advertising has brought a new way of disappointing...

One star! Won’t be returning!

I drove all the way from Darlington for a meeting, specifically choosing Starbucks on Portrack Lane, Stockton, only to find out they don’t accept cash. Absolutely ridiculous!

This isn’t just a small café trying something new, it’s a global chain. Not accepting legal tender in 2025? A total joke. Normally I would’ve walked away (and nearly did), especially since I didn’t have my wallet on me, just cash. Thankfully, the two girls working were kind and empathetic, and after scrambling through my car, I managed to find enough change for my much-needed coffee.

But seriously, what would’ve happened if their card machine went down? No backup, no alternative, no coffee. Whoever the franchisee is needs to wake up and literally smell the coffee. You’re excluding people and making simple purchases unnecessarily difficult.

I WILL NOT be back, not because of the staff (who were lovely) but purely because of a baffling, anti-customer policy. Wake up,...
