This was by far the worst place I have been to get a Dinner nothing about it is Fresh ask for a Chicken Dinner they'll give you cold Chicken Slices like its from a Packet heated with Gravy ask for Beef and its like pulled beef slices out of a Tin only thing that's freshly cooked is the Pork and to try and chew it you would need teeth like Razor Blades its that tough. Vegetables Microwaved only Carrots and peas they Serve Instant Smash not Mash Yorkshire pudding really hard and Cold stuffing is like Pease Pudding Horrible and portion sizes are a absolute joke they count how many Roast potatoes you get only 4 allowed and there's no taste whatsoever off them bit off seasoning would make some difference there really hard aswell. There so Stingy with everything tiny bit off mash on the dinner tiny bit off stuffing you would still be hungry if you eat there dinner put it that way Mash not worth eating because its not even Mash its Smash but still very Stingy with there food you have to pay for there wooden Knives and Forks Aswell there 20p like seriously how else are you supposed to eat there food I paid £17 and I threw it in the black bags for bins they have right in front off them absolute rip off a restaurant wouldn't charge as Much for quality food everything is cold and its like they try and heat it all with gravy when they give it to you overall i wont be returning and would advise people who are looking for a Nice Dinner to not come here you will be very disappointed 0/10 oh and the drinks are room temperature no point having a fridge...
Read moreI was expecting it to be better, probably because of the prices and the length of the queue to get served on a Sunday afternoon, this being a 30 minute wait. Surely if people are waiting this long it must be good, well in short no.
While there was nothing wrong with the food, it is overpriced for what it is. At the time of this review, I got the Bendict, which is basically a small Sunday dinner in a 7 inch yorkshire pudding and this was £7.80.
A couple of other issues are that there was not enough gravy on mine leaving it a bit too dry for my liking. If you are going to advertise a rich gravy then please let me taste it.
Also I felt that the Yorkshire was filled out too much by the mash and roasties, again, I like gravy with both of these. To me the roasties had a slight taste being warmed up.
The good points are that the queue is covered and so are the tables to eat at. Good job really, would not have liked to wait in the rain for the length of time.
Try it out, but ask for more gravy if you like your Sunday dinner...

Food was well cooked and delicious the beef was so tender and the roast potatoes were actually roasted crispy and fluffy makes the mouth drool thinking about it! Veg was awesome! I am in Love with the cheesy cauliflower it was proper cheesy cauliflower actually tasted of cheese rather than just cheese water (which is standard at Toby) only complaint was could wish for more 🤣🤣🤣 we will be back to enjoy the rest of your delicious menu and can't wait!
