Subway — Restaurant in England

I've always had a good experience at this store—until today, when I encountered what I can only describe as the final boss of riff-raff.

There was an issue with the app and payments, which every other customer accepted without fuss. But one staff member decided to take it upon herself to be unnecessarily rude, treating customers like they were personally responsible for the glitch.

Then came my turn. They were out of one ingredient—no problem, I politely asked for extra of another. Enter the same staff member again, claiming they couldn’t do that because they were “running low” on that ingredient too. Odd, considering I could’ve just ordered double of it outright. What exactly are we rationing for?

This used to be a great little shop, last 2 x the service wasn't good and food cold but today was rhe worst stood in line for ages then asked for 4 x sandwiches 2x 6" hearty Italian 1 meatball had to ask to exchange a meatball as it was burnt black wasn't happy.then did other 2 x 6" Italian hwrb cheese told him order he stopped started another order inc meatball then came back to me said what u want I said meatball..NONE left I was like what about that one he was rude as saying oh that's someone else's I said well if you had finished serving me instead of stopping ..and leaving my previously toasted food cool..he just give a me a dirty look I realise they have the food app orders but surely do one...

Foods always decent from here can’t say much as it’s just a subway however I’ve never been let down by the food here, the “atmosphere ” is nothing to be over exited for it’s usually really quiet , only issue I have is there new drinks fountain the old one was way better as it was a digital one and you could choose more flavours but it’s not that big of a deal do be mindful of the strange looks you get from the employees if you order a “refillable” drink as each time you go up to get one you will certainly get stared at, would highly recommend though if your in the area!
