Very sad to say that although the food is very very nice here, my review is based on a member of the staff! We ate from here regularly until May (2022). When we last ordered from Sylhety in May, a staff member decided it was a good idea to clone our bank card details and within 48 hours set up repeat car insurance payments and try to make several large purchases, including a payment on their own Barclay card. Thankfully, my bank spotted the activity and froze ALL transactions pending clarification from myself. The National Action Fraud Team and the local police were informed. We were served by Abdul, who was lovely, and very warm and polite, and the food was amazing, really delicious. I wasn't sure what to order, so Abdul asked me what I liked and said a Lamb Saag would be good. I asked for a mild to medium, and my curry was the nicest I have had, the lamb tender, and the spicing enhancing the flavour. My husband had a Chicken Balti and loved it. We've been here a few times and been impressed each time. Always tasty food, well-presented; friendly and welcoming staff; great choice on the menu; good value. Special mention must be made of the mushroom pakora and Goan curry - they were beautiful. Also, a nice touch: we were the last customers to leave on Thursday night and they opened a new box of chocolate mints for us.
