Came in for the second time with my family in my birthday and the food this time as my first was excellent again.
Being part of the Taylors pies factory unit this café is an excellent find, the food quality is the best I've found in a school diner style food hall and the value for money is worth diving off the A1/A19/A66/A167 for!
Both my parents and I had the stroganoff which due to the adult sized portions, neither of them could finish despite eating themselves to a standstill, the sauce was absolutely spot on with the meat being perfectly tender and fat/gristle free, being a much bigger eater, I cleared both their plates as well as my own!
This cafe gets very busy as it is locally popular due to being great value for money, you can also buy the company pies direct from the cafe too!!
Well worth a dogleg in your journey if you're passing Darlington in...

Can't forget the pork pie you get free on Monday and Tuesday when ordering 2 meals. All for a little over £11:00. As well as sit in you can take away, very little difference in the charge. Staff are friendly,...
